I wanted to share a fun shaped card with you using dies from <a href="https://prettypinkposh.com/" target="_blank">Pretty Pink Posh </a>and <a href="http://Scrapbook.com">Scrapbook.com</a>!<div><br /></div><div>I've been a little obsessed with both brands lately. Pretty Pink Posh has been coming out with the cutest stamps and dies lately and I seem to be buying at least one thing from each new release! Scrapbookcom has got some of the best nesting die sets, coloured paper pads and patterned paper pads! I find myself visiting this store more often as their exclusive products, sales and freebies are amazing! (NOTE: I'm in Canada. For whatever reason, this is the only US online retailer that I order from that I <u><b>always</b></u> end up paying duties/taxes when it arrives....annnoying but I tend to overlook it because their prices can be pretty good). </div><div><br /></div><div>Enough chatter, let's get to the card!</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi45ELWhHOrTIfeUSa8l8K36d0Am2lPQRCKl9DOxrxR_BWojkKavP5vTbQfB_3Pl-w9vIS-m2XHA7Trbs0zk9nWcEG5gg8z1N0vzkMPYBRuFc_40W0PWPVQW_6Pv6umJdr49s8M3nT7wTDDuGe5Qa7iLBeg3KPoQzUQ8s9xkmosSYCe1azNsNCBqWUce-I/s1080/79921FE8-CEF5-4739-9DA2-89EE649534D5_1_201_a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi45ELWhHOrTIfeUSa8l8K36d0Am2lPQRCKl9DOxrxR_BWojkKavP5vTbQfB_3Pl-w9vIS-m2XHA7Trbs0zk9nWcEG5gg8z1N0vzkMPYBRuFc_40W0PWPVQW_6Pv6umJdr49s8M3nT7wTDDuGe5Qa7iLBeg3KPoQzUQ8s9xkmosSYCe1azNsNCBqWUce-I/w640-h640/79921FE8-CEF5-4739-9DA2-89EE649534D5_1_201_a.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I made a fun, floral shaped card using the <a href="https://www.scrapbook.com/store/uc-die-60879.html" target="_blank">Nested Spring Flowers Dies</a> from Scrapbookcom. I ADORE this set of dies! I simply cut 2 of the largest die out of white cardstock, then another of the same size using pattern paper from an older Photoplay paper pad. I then cut another flower in the next size down, out of white. To make the base, I simply made a score line at the top of one of the largest flowers and used Scor-tape to adhere the two together!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I used a combination of the Mug/Additions dies from Pretty Pink Posh. This includes the : <a href="https://butterflyreflectionsink.3dcartstores.com/Winter-Mug-Die_p_40378.html" target="_blank">Winter Mug Die </a>(this is the base set) and the <a href="https://butterflyreflectionsink.3dcartstores.com/Fall-Mug-Additions-Dies_p_42965.html" target="_blank">Fall Mug Addition</a>s. These two sets come with all the dies you see here plus more!!!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">All the papers for the mug and foliage are from Scrapbookcom. The mug is cut from my favourite fall paper: <a href="https://www.scrapbook.com/store/sbc-paperpad-69.html" target="_blank">Cozy Autumn 6x8 paper pad</a>. The solid colours come from a combo of the <a href="https://www.scrapbook.com/store/sbc-paperpad-37.html" target="_blank">Floral 6x8 pad</a> and the <a href="https://www.scrapbook.com/store/sbc-paperpad-36.html" target="_blank">Boho 6x8 pad</a>.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">After everything was die cut, I used a combination of liquid glue and foam adhesive to attach and adhere everything together...this is quite a dimensional project and one best hand delivered!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEib8g_sfGm-YeZ837oYewLBpfHCI8wDlT8Lmb0Mv1Ts6pGKV0HETp4mfJKdOnvtlIyZEDeDnNP0Zkkp__R8SKSWXbHSjEhNf3usmSAXkux1D7yW2ClO4Gxc7FJVv116nxTPbUiZCp-CsJGIQhiugilu9zXC102KNyrm5Ta6v3G7THNmTUK0lgj9MqCzLaU/s1080/9D58A820-9C7E-4A55-8E12-FBDFAF882DC4_1_201_a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEib8g_sfGm-YeZ837oYewLBpfHCI8wDlT8Lmb0Mv1Ts6pGKV0HETp4mfJKdOnvtlIyZEDeDnNP0Zkkp__R8SKSWXbHSjEhNf3usmSAXkux1D7yW2ClO4Gxc7FJVv116nxTPbUiZCp-CsJGIQhiugilu9zXC102KNyrm5Ta6v3G7THNmTUK0lgj9MqCzLaU/w640-h640/9D58A820-9C7E-4A55-8E12-FBDFAF882DC4_1_201_a.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I added a few white gel pen details. Even as a kid, I never enjoyed it. However, I do like creating some spooky cards. Well, kind of spooky. More "spooky-cute".</p><p>I chose to use a variety of Tim Holtz/Sizzix products for my card today.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjT2lKQLpzy8cnCe93Shn_MIXRvOp6w12o5RD4_RGS2Fh5bQ3MhKajKqC7QlRidERuZ0jEljp0g12N5kIUwH9m-hajxuNcbOBBJ76aPQ_ct8L85w1ndEgBaEAQqzdnuC1XcUaJbMDCWLqJFmI1cBF7Si4HS0IG2sb5tUzm-xiDNyBThjglbifA30ZJaUGY/s1080/SNS%20halloween.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjT2lKQLpzy8cnCe93Shn_MIXRvOp6w12o5RD4_RGS2Fh5bQ3MhKajKqC7QlRidERuZ0jEljp0g12N5kIUwH9m-hajxuNcbOBBJ76aPQ_ct8L85w1ndEgBaEAQqzdnuC1XcUaJbMDCWLqJFmI1cBF7Si4HS0IG2sb5tUzm-xiDNyBThjglbifA30ZJaUGY/w640-h640/SNS%20halloween.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I die cut all the pieces from Mixed Media paper. I added colour using the "smooshing" technique with a variety of Distress Inks. This adds colour quickly while creating some fabulous texture! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I used one of the pumpkins from the <a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Tim-Holtz-Dies-Pumpkin-Duo-907p34496.htm" target="_blank">Pumpkin Duo Die Set</a>, the hat and tie (which fit perfectly on that pumpkin) are from the <a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Tim-Holtz-Dies-Tailored-907p35746.htm" target="_blank">Tailored Die Set</a>. The foliage comes from the <a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Tim-Holtz-Dies-Funky-Floral-2-907p19953.htm" target="_blank">Funky Florals 2 set</a>. The clouds are from <a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Tim-Holtz-Dies-Christmas-Cutouts-907p35075.htm" target="_blank">Christmas Cutouts</a>. The little skull on the top hat is from <a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Tim-Holtz-Dies-Trick-or-Treater-907p27173.htm" target="_blank">Trick or Treaters</a> and the "31" is cut using the <a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Tim-Holtz-Dies-Alphanumeric-Nomads-73pk-907p34368.htm" target="_blank">Alphanumeric Nomads</a> set. The small bat is from an older set I had in my stash.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">As you can see, all these die sets work wonderfully together and it also shows that I have a bit of an obsession with Tim Holtz dies and die cutting in general!!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_S8oL6OSzBhH2KE8HwCDCjqSCT4D8poTVSIx64ULZwMyfZdN8-akZHavCNSVUggcZK2DSWZVyjWAH4Ty04NBcoaVQ0lUgZ3yWMf3Q-f87u6vneh4Vv3KgV3LfDDlGoZljcsTna0MybKYJW14qijGsL92yNSww9UXQRuJXXKq-gQgIaMX1RsMwdfSEjx8/s1080/SNShalloween3.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_S8oL6OSzBhH2KE8HwCDCjqSCT4D8poTVSIx64ULZwMyfZdN8-akZHavCNSVUggcZK2DSWZVyjWAH4Ty04NBcoaVQ0lUgZ3yWMf3Q-f87u6vneh4Vv3KgV3LfDDlGoZljcsTna0MybKYJW14qijGsL92yNSww9UXQRuJXXKq-gQgIaMX1RsMwdfSEjx8/w640-h640/SNShalloween3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">To create the background, which is pretty much covered by my focal point, I used <a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Tim-Holtz-Distress-Crackle-Paste-Translucent-867p34004.htm" target="_blank">Transparent Distress Crackle</a> paste along with the new <a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Tim-Holtz-Stencil-Spellbound-908p38334.htm" target="_blank">Spellbound Stencil</a>. This week I made a card to enter into the latest challenge from <a href="https://www.inkypawschallenge.com/" target="_blank">Newton's Nook</a>! I've always been a huge fan of their stamps and dies and decided to use a couple of my favourites. The theme for this challenge is SKETCH. Sketch challenges always gets my creative juices flowing.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgahh9YC7hgyOO1usAaRV83E0yO4F7Lex-uTPXELz2iQA_HyfxMz1m-_03xg6uxKQz8uyzDEl5-M3V5MEGToRQ5E0Em2K0u3mui2M3y3QsDhBvUuug9WUU_saPrF5n33YdVjarRjX_hXUI2DC1U7JjusxillGOMXp-4E9au8eGTfPuE8-YEbjEbLbtj-t8/s1300/IPC207.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1300" data-original-width="1300" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgahh9YC7hgyOO1usAaRV83E0yO4F7Lex-uTPXELz2iQA_HyfxMz1m-_03xg6uxKQz8uyzDEl5-M3V5MEGToRQ5E0Em2K0u3mui2M3y3QsDhBvUuug9WUU_saPrF5n33YdVjarRjX_hXUI2DC1U7JjusxillGOMXp-4E9au8eGTfPuE8-YEbjEbLbtj-t8/s320/IPC207.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Here's my take on this...</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZr_4ndLO1D5Ze74qtiXsmWq4KO19-K--exiPJiWFNb9snRSkCctroPPVsdgqu5PSqzgcivcxtUbimOazDnEvfwV4PZTqsFO6xvdc4_fvqqH9d-8iwlvKIU-PudA4qdoxgf2uiXp2KkNzjb-k9cGZ6U49zMGlEq74-OlA1tejpnq4QvpgHqyIpOUHN3PY/s1080/A6CA24AC-BA3C-4E0B-9F0E-3A6F171EF556_1_201_a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZr_4ndLO1D5Ze74qtiXsmWq4KO19-K--exiPJiWFNb9snRSkCctroPPVsdgqu5PSqzgcivcxtUbimOazDnEvfwV4PZTqsFO6xvdc4_fvqqH9d-8iwlvKIU-PudA4qdoxgf2uiXp2KkNzjb-k9cGZ6U49zMGlEq74-OlA1tejpnq4QvpgHqyIpOUHN3PY/w640-h640/A6CA24AC-BA3C-4E0B-9F0E-3A6F171EF556_1_201_a.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I used one of my all-time favourite fall themed stamp sets: <a href="https://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/pumpkin-latte/" target="_blank">Pumpkin Latte</a> along with its <a href="https://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/pumpkin-latte-die-set/" target="_blank">co-ordinating dies</a>. My colouring medium of choice was watercolour pencils which I've been using A LOT lately!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">To create the striped panel, I simply used the same colour of pencils that I used on the images to draw 1/2 inch lines on the paper. There is truly something for everyone!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">For my project, I used the GORGEOUS <a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Altenew-Embossing-Folders-Peony-Sunshine-1270p36587.htm" target="_blank">Peony Sunshine 3D embossing folder</a>. I used a thick, kraft cardstock for this and it worked beautifully!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj90kPIqxwxPcJfXXENbQFW2kkC7EJdJ5zpN5-TsWMnj0rB_x8CBuK0bRUvxk8nJ99ddKR8CrPeUbPHezlmysxuq4vJbi-OP10riKa00-ABgu32Qp0gcJDGJVJf1pNH3qPJ85_04ixTlnIKmrA_h5O5LHqmgF_KIs48JBkAZSsj1t92GBt3qoxrExrpiyA/s1080/6364AA5A-2D28-4F13-A11E-D5914C41F142_1_201_a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj90kPIqxwxPcJfXXENbQFW2kkC7EJdJ5zpN5-TsWMnj0rB_x8CBuK0bRUvxk8nJ99ddKR8CrPeUbPHezlmysxuq4vJbi-OP10riKa00-ABgu32Qp0gcJDGJVJf1pNH3qPJ85_04ixTlnIKmrA_h5O5LHqmgF_KIs48JBkAZSsj1t92GBt3qoxrExrpiyA/w640-h640/6364AA5A-2D28-4F13-A11E-D5914C41F142_1_201_a.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">After the embossing, I trimmed the panel down to fit onto an A2, ivory card base leaving a border. To spice things up a bit, I lightly rubbed a white pigment ink pad over the top. This catches the "high" points of the embossed image and brings out the pattern!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDePqxMKAS9vYO2vLMSrmrEpIo4YUBxOVqg1Iff-eTYakkUvvYACJLkRGvTzUmfxXXtZWtocGdIv_MQqTL_jwHgUyw035XdV8tRLHSCDe9uAwHbaa-OWAhqXtNFmDs4AlaEUlMLayIijFmIdlczA3rLkpzi12hTqVKkS4wozE5J7s7S4S2oBtA1XonkJE/s1080/07501725-8D02-4700-AD67-E8D813E1ECC4_1_201_a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDePqxMKAS9vYO2vLMSrmrEpIo4YUBxOVqg1Iff-eTYakkUvvYACJLkRGvTzUmfxXXtZWtocGdIv_MQqTL_jwHgUyw035XdV8tRLHSCDe9uAwHbaa-OWAhqXtNFmDs4AlaEUlMLayIijFmIdlczA3rLkpzi12hTqVKkS4wozE5J7s7S4S2oBtA1XonkJE/w640-h640/07501725-8D02-4700-AD67-E8D813E1ECC4_1_201_a.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">For even more added detail, I took some coloured pencils and added some fairly subtle shading. I used a brown pencil to outline it and it seems to pop of the paper even more!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I just so happened to have a small frame in my "use it up" pile and it worked perfectly to frame the kraft panel. This is quite a simple die set yet is just beautiful. I chose to cut everything from white cardstock and use a variety of Distress Inks to add the colour. I then glued all the pieces together to create one solid image.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">To easily create the background, I started with a piece of light blue cardstock. I simply inked around it using Broken China, then Chipped Sapphire and finally Black Soot Distress Inks. By starting off with the light blue cardstock, it cuts down on the blending time! I then mixed a bit of white acrylic paint with water and used a paintbrush to splatter. I made sure to go over the couple and the trees to create continuity.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Now, speaking of the trees! I used the beautiful <a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Memory-Box-Die-Layered-Narrow-Pines-803p35295.htm" target="_blank">Layered Narrow Pines </a>die set from Memory Box. This set pairs beautifully with the Christmastime die set. I did the same technique by using Distress Inks to add colour. I used Rustic Wilderness and Peeled Paint.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcyseK3iXpUmSVJTkMdZ5WbsqmdklnP5p4ocWPPgPJIMEXRdcTFPbl52gi1FKUxX3sMqq7BZdGpvKZX2QV3EXyNm6lodJTYofMiZZTSpmLHv4_c2qA79H5GuQq1uPeoI5KpFiU2ZQ6l694xp3Jq_OpxLot4oJ8bgJF7WSOcFzR6HLyHDX87j5_GmJ4oNY/s1080/E5050710-E7E0-4728-B8F9-C354F7F7B144_1_201_a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcyseK3iXpUmSVJTkMdZ5WbsqmdklnP5p4ocWPPgPJIMEXRdcTFPbl52gi1FKUxX3sMqq7BZdGpvKZX2QV3EXyNm6lodJTYofMiZZTSpmLHv4_c2qA79H5GuQq1uPeoI5KpFiU2ZQ6l694xp3Jq_OpxLot4oJ8bgJF7WSOcFzR6HLyHDX87j5_GmJ4oNY/w640-h640/E5050710-E7E0-4728-B8F9-C354F7F7B144_1_201_a.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I used a stitched rectangle die to trim down the background panel. I thought I'd join in on a challenge today!! I rarely participate in challenges and I don't know why. They are a great way to get the creative ideas flowing. I also find that I make better use of my supplies. With prompts such as layout, theme or colour combination, it tends to make you look at your stamps, dies and inks with fresh eyes.</p><p>This is the <a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge" target="_blank">Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge</a>. The theme is "Vacation". Typically, the Monday challenge is a vintage theme. My card is definitely NOT vintage. But that's ok!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEji8LKEvReL6Yr0fXYq2uyMnCouYd2gx6JDuyWgFCjRYEdr5--EtzGCqIoy6QuPagGADsfExPeysjtmLEBqy9bHNIfF9qmYfEUQIn8h_gQ0MdZDWLjjWadfiHN5uBtNN2VMKFu3g0iuvNoyRigErm3wLqx4KBjbf_kSCfxH5f4oY-A99f8mKQ2ZG-lkUSk/s1080/SSSSummerChallenge1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEji8LKEvReL6Yr0fXYq2uyMnCouYd2gx6JDuyWgFCjRYEdr5--EtzGCqIoy6QuPagGADsfExPeysjtmLEBqy9bHNIfF9qmYfEUQIn8h_gQ0MdZDWLjjWadfiHN5uBtNN2VMKFu3g0iuvNoyRigErm3wLqx4KBjbf_kSCfxH5f4oY-A99f8mKQ2ZG-lkUSk/w640-h640/SSSSummerChallenge1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><p>I used all older supplies, some of which are no longer available or retired...sorry! But that's the beauty of challenges...you can give your older goodies some more love!</p><p>I created a pastel, beach themed card. Everything was cut from white cardstock and then ink blended with Distress Inks. I have tons of coloured cardstock which would make this easier but I love the look of the Distress Inks!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMH1zAiUrEJdEiKN-fEfV9QpEdp8RXIxyOxod7efO1PhYIPVM0t6qqrU_eqEEae2wEx3D_fiFlLdKEL0eyDGuDb8bSrWVOLv53seSBFgw7ZuiPntrSHlfIGkbcjnXfP5mPeNa9jYX-C24uM7vcQqiuc8mzt44CFhNcjJSk7E93bItmLRLP7ZOuaaj9pDo/s1080/SSS%232.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMH1zAiUrEJdEiKN-fEfV9QpEdp8RXIxyOxod7efO1PhYIPVM0t6qqrU_eqEEae2wEx3D_fiFlLdKEL0eyDGuDb8bSrWVOLv53seSBFgw7ZuiPntrSHlfIGkbcjnXfP5mPeNa9jYX-C24uM7vcQqiuc8mzt44CFhNcjJSk7E93bItmLRLP7ZOuaaj9pDo/w640-h640/SSS%232.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I'm pretty happy with the way this card turned out. Today, I'll share a fun card with you featuring a new digital stamp set from Jane's Doodles! This one is called <a href="https://www.janesdoodles.com/surfs-up-digital-stamp/" target="_blank">Surf's Up</a>. This is another fun, must have set.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdy14tqv61eP-ZNMOHdmdT7jESeP6obIAShY0AKF6riBkfZpNVK63NM4QEpRlnZx8PMtnY1AsiWdRVKgktFA17bQvqwsFWudEq5RgdjmRbgkWt7AQhqDMT_EThSsI4ehFB69Ssjq_idC2Q4DQTM1c29ye8fU1nd6XgAwYt_SIJ2O_QXMtguNxMiYNg/s1080/138A70E3-961F-463A-B779-C15883653197_1_201_a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdy14tqv61eP-ZNMOHdmdT7jESeP6obIAShY0AKF6riBkfZpNVK63NM4QEpRlnZx8PMtnY1AsiWdRVKgktFA17bQvqwsFWudEq5RgdjmRbgkWt7AQhqDMT_EThSsI4ehFB69Ssjq_idC2Q4DQTM1c29ye8fU1nd6XgAwYt_SIJ2O_QXMtguNxMiYNg/w640-h640/138A70E3-961F-463A-B779-C15883653197_1_201_a.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I have an inexpensive laser printer. This was such sad news to hear. But....she has thankfully decided to start selling her designs as digital images!!!</p><p>If you're not familiar with Jane's illustrations, I highly recommend you check her out. I've been a fan since I started card making many years ago. She has got a unique, fun and kind of quirky style...which I love!</p><p>Now, with all that said, I'm super excited to be a part of her digital design team and help showcase her wonderful designs!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibaUlzSUOVRmPxYMCN-pShI4jpNamywCrdsrjMRHok_-p8zJQRFwC42iWSIyA6ihPfBxnIMBcsrqm54ZkeDnRX_ND4JqGs9wvLooR7Rs51WCfBfDnDLiOASNJ9Nv4Zl2lN0Osphij1rhANs90JuXgptJ8kQKsGdQHEzde41wj1kGRbKf7BGVFWIYZa/s1080/Janes%20Doodles3..May11_23.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibaUlzSUOVRmPxYMCN-pShI4jpNamywCrdsrjMRHok_-p8zJQRFwC42iWSIyA6ihPfBxnIMBcsrqm54ZkeDnRX_ND4JqGs9wvLooR7Rs51WCfBfDnDLiOASNJ9Nv4Zl2lN0Osphij1rhANs90JuXgptJ8kQKsGdQHEzde41wj1kGRbKf7BGVFWIYZa/w640-h640/Janes%20Doodles3..May11_23.png" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Here is my first project featuring the <a href="https://www.janesdoodles.com/road-trip-digital-stamp/" target="_blank">Road Trip</a> digital stamp! It's an off-white shade with little flecks in it. I think I got this from WPlus9 a LONG time ago. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiALseK34J54GiRTY6G1uEZ6IFReSDwldUL97xKtDKf53JrfQrsFn_iMdrXYh_vGp8VedcXd2fuF-gVmkY13Fih1k5BtutQERIk08vx2HLbD_iSRu4D6xNX6loMhWECIwJBNNURB9zVRr-X4_R-8OkC-VdeDm2EEtP3n-fiXD81I8C-5ag5Z6IOtABj/s1080/Janes%20Doodles3..May11_23.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiALseK34J54GiRTY6G1uEZ6IFReSDwldUL97xKtDKf53JrfQrsFn_iMdrXYh_vGp8VedcXd2fuF-gVmkY13Fih1k5BtutQERIk08vx2HLbD_iSRu4D6xNX6loMhWECIwJBNNURB9zVRr-X4_R-8OkC-VdeDm2EEtP3n-fiXD81I8C-5ag5Z6IOtABj/w640-h640/Janes%20Doodles3..May11_23.png" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I really hope you will check out Jane's shop! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Thanks for stopping by...see you soon!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Laurie</div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><br /><p><br /></p>LaurieChttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10661098148210029246noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-595986324925963887.post-16465854837744612062023-04-16T16:51:00.000-05:002023-04-16T16:51:22.896-05:00You're So Tweet ft. Ink Blot Shop<p> Good morning and happy Monday!! I just wanted to stop in and share a cute card made using stamps from the <a href="https://inkblotshop.com/" target="_blank">Ink Blot Shop</a>!</p><p>We're preparing for another blast of winter this week here in Manitoba. I'm praying it passes us by. It is however, a lovely day today so I put together a very Springy card.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4J_6sITQmKfQSypVvqkSsGIVOIMGBQ9E_N9nB4wHg3WHHJxBzoR947_Ml8zK_LZAoH_3tsGr3ZqkISRMNpzbyUvjJs716YGvLNWW5aSKc0m_NvuRehJ4iugSSzIF5AIHhL80Te3Rjwc3iWvQCIsMNikrr83BsDhDqyGOZs9e9rMiP4ypl-20Qy9l0/s1080/3D7A1111-2DD1-4B28-82A5-5994A95B25F0.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4J_6sITQmKfQSypVvqkSsGIVOIMGBQ9E_N9nB4wHg3WHHJxBzoR947_Ml8zK_LZAoH_3tsGr3ZqkISRMNpzbyUvjJs716YGvLNWW5aSKc0m_NvuRehJ4iugSSzIF5AIHhL80Te3Rjwc3iWvQCIsMNikrr83BsDhDqyGOZs9e9rMiP4ypl-20Qy9l0/w640-h640/3D7A1111-2DD1-4B28-82A5-5994A95B25F0.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I decided to stamp an entire background to mimic a piece of patterned paper. My ink of choice of Versafine Claire along with clear embossing powder. The heart and dots are from the same set and the tiny flowers come from the <a href="https://inkblotshop.com/collections/background-stamps/products/botanical-borders-6x6-clear-stamp-set" target="_blank">Botanical Borders</a> 6X6 set.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5mI5cLuoTnan6IW_mQM8iD9gwnMIahm5568vi12IPyqS4kw8OvWWF0H6T_z2bZOD9xFTtMraH_q3N5zGPTY3RGkQVULjk9DV_zQF3pqXaVMmxctDAVkbKsxU5nNbo8rI0qgzWC8zRx7AQ6S8PmFwJit3qiGrIJtYFW3E_pXZobhfId9ziQoWUurnD/s1080/3052C294-6DB2-424B-92DF-017590A14313.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5mI5cLuoTnan6IW_mQM8iD9gwnMIahm5568vi12IPyqS4kw8OvWWF0H6T_z2bZOD9xFTtMraH_q3N5zGPTY3RGkQVULjk9DV_zQF3pqXaVMmxctDAVkbKsxU5nNbo8rI0qgzWC8zRx7AQ6S8PmFwJit3qiGrIJtYFW3E_pXZobhfId9ziQoWUurnD/w640-h640/3052C294-6DB2-424B-92DF-017590A14313.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I used Bristol Smooth paper along with an inexpensive watercolour palette I got off Amazon. Today I decided to enter a challenge! I find that challenges are a great way to not only fire up the crafty mojo but to also give you an opportunity to dust off some products that you may not have used in awhile!</p><p>I decided to enter the current <a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge" target="_blank">Wednesday Challenge over on the Simon Says Stamp Blog</a>. It combines two of my favourite things: Tim Holtz and tags!!</p><p>I used the largest of the Tim Holtz Framelits Tags. To create the background, I used a variety of acrylic paints and my fingers to apply. This is my favourite way to get a fun background. I then used a whole bunch of stencils to create layers and patterns.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFGjEy9RHAvo52HA7xIMeN3I3NIjcPAVkaFhMxMHek1LjcO43mM3rU-hcXNS4Hl1q98c6Kpy5kx9aSq7jMNRRoYoenk9SWDER64pWCAHPI5TYWYXHeHAQ6hI2P3IlMKTkOZFmo69pU1ePp4qAPMsfGUmCS3pSepESgLShQXuYUOHP52vffDbEiEzD5/s1080/230828BE-7CFD-441F-A078-EE9B69C45DE1_1_201_a.heic.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFGjEy9RHAvo52HA7xIMeN3I3NIjcPAVkaFhMxMHek1LjcO43mM3rU-hcXNS4Hl1q98c6Kpy5kx9aSq7jMNRRoYoenk9SWDER64pWCAHPI5TYWYXHeHAQ6hI2P3IlMKTkOZFmo69pU1ePp4qAPMsfGUmCS3pSepESgLShQXuYUOHP52vffDbEiEzD5/w640-h640/230828BE-7CFD-441F-A078-EE9B69C45DE1_1_201_a.heic.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div>Next, I dug through my stash and found the <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/simon-says-stamp-arched-leaf-and-flower-blooms-wafer-dies-s723-diecember-s723?currency=USD" target="_blank">Arched Leaf and Flower Blooms</a> die set from Simon. To go along with these flowers and leaves, I used the TH <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/Tim-Holtz-Sizzix-FEATHERED-FRIENDS-Thinlits-Die-664433-664433ths?currency=USD" target="_blank">Feathered Friends </a>dies. After everything was cut out, I used Gina K Designs inks to add colour.<div><br /></div><div>I played around a little with the arrangement and used a combination of liquid glue and foam adhesive to adhere everything. </div><div><br /></div><div>The sentiment comes from an older TH die set called Pondering Words.</div><div><br /></div><div>This tag fits onto a card base measuring 6.25 X 3.5.</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVq-Dps-22VWEOCnY-7ZZMwCpj3bC5AWmupF-PCaMaMw9INxF37ZoV3seWL6MzjsskEIYbIl9pucSgpGzBEDU_Syirx4fETqviFKIjLOv4ud29nV4aQZjaeKaMrkEKUEfu9ralIvQvr21YFmIWil1mrAa0ZXx7fj_KZftW56FYA20XWxWPVBnvhkBw/s1080/3B351954-E024-405B-92C3-B5B733CF9DAC_1_201_a.heic.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVq-Dps-22VWEOCnY-7ZZMwCpj3bC5AWmupF-PCaMaMw9INxF37ZoV3seWL6MzjsskEIYbIl9pucSgpGzBEDU_Syirx4fETqviFKIjLOv4ud29nV4aQZjaeKaMrkEKUEfu9ralIvQvr21YFmIWil1mrAa0ZXx7fj_KZftW56FYA20XWxWPVBnvhkBw/w640-h640/3B351954-E024-405B-92C3-B5B733CF9DAC_1_201_a.heic.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Thanks for dropping by! I foam mounted these as well.</div><div><br /></div><div>To create the card, I simply die cut another panel, scored 1/2 inch from the top and applied a strong adhesive above the score line then attached the panels together.</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrM699cd-Y5lKsRFa6qqEegmgeibOIMv6DCHDPjPqydFCmoQc29MmK20LDybwpu40125eF4uIAveKZYObG8CCUX5uS9kPISiYsh7JJ79N2TsUTHR-Tvez9wNjGuJTUDm-cVqehqZHBWL9qQTz8D56FHV80G_XPhfX5SG9vzThYtA4pht2pSBvXWjKS/s1080/SNSGUEST2.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrM699cd-Y5lKsRFa6qqEegmgeibOIMv6DCHDPjPqydFCmoQc29MmK20LDybwpu40125eF4uIAveKZYObG8CCUX5uS9kPISiYsh7JJ79N2TsUTHR-Tvez9wNjGuJTUDm-cVqehqZHBWL9qQTz8D56FHV80G_XPhfX5SG9vzThYtA4pht2pSBvXWjKS/w640-h640/SNSGUEST2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div><br /></div>This was a super fun project to make. To get my creative mojo kick started, I perused the internet for some inspiration and a fun challenge. <a href="https://www.yournextstamp.com/" target="_blank">Your Next Stamp</a> was the first company challenge I participated in when I started card making!</p><p>The theme of this challenge is <a href="https://blog.yournextstamp.com/category/challenge/" target="_blank">"Thank You"</a>. I dug through my YNS stash and found one of the cutest sets called Scarf Weather. While I'm typing this post, I just discovered that this set has been discontinued...so sorry about that!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtZXXyEnlQsSSeafkTC_kFGcxEdcUcDp22-tOIAqG0v-vKBpywIJtcxz1b4dRW0WAFu2iZCVqi14KnwVhmXWmqvOnImGtqab7wEMcamsMss4JvXlqR0wsE1hRkQPiemmafY-i1aD_Aedv5yHqgtXl4PRDcOpoxSI6dbiRsEjTjSTaUHQ5Ip3KlPQD3/s1080/YNS%20CHALLENGE%201.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtZXXyEnlQsSSeafkTC_kFGcxEdcUcDp22-tOIAqG0v-vKBpywIJtcxz1b4dRW0WAFu2iZCVqi14KnwVhmXWmqvOnImGtqab7wEMcamsMss4JvXlqR0wsE1hRkQPiemmafY-i1aD_Aedv5yHqgtXl4PRDcOpoxSI6dbiRsEjTjSTaUHQ5Ip3KlPQD3/w640-h640/YNS%20CHALLENGE%201.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><p>I used my pencil crayons to colour the sweet images, used the coordinating dies to cut everything out and came up with a simple scene.</p><p>I used a leaf embossing folder from Taylored Expressions to create some interest on the background panel. Again, apparently discontinued! Can you tell I've been shopping my stash lately, haha?!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzKcvt60x22EJA82hbGyGe8Ic3wg--sQTnD0mIeA6FvlbCcQuAx0vCivoNA3trMuGSa_6NWfdWru8Ref3G1dHiSHKlEiFNdHbHeOYWPI-LlrcJ0mUv9Ps9t8th9PAxmJHRx1INGLPWT6BBUNJn4RfdiaV1oB40t9GnktIQ4rXtRovcBcA0G68OyLCz/s1080/YNS%20CHALLENGE%203.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzKcvt60x22EJA82hbGyGe8Ic3wg--sQTnD0mIeA6FvlbCcQuAx0vCivoNA3trMuGSa_6NWfdWru8Ref3G1dHiSHKlEiFNdHbHeOYWPI-LlrcJ0mUv9Ps9t8th9PAxmJHRx1INGLPWT6BBUNJn4RfdiaV1oB40t9GnktIQ4rXtRovcBcA0G68OyLCz/w640-h640/YNS%20CHALLENGE%203.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This layout is a bit different for me as I usually like things to be centred. I'm really not sure how many subscribers I have left here and that's understandable and okay. I've been so very absent here. I apologize and will try harder. I don't have any other excuse except I'm super lazy. I actually love sitting down and writing blog posts but when you don't actually HAVE to do it (ie. design teams), it just seems easy to ignore/forget about it! Anyway.....</p><p>I'm entering the current <a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/" target="_blank">Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge</a> which is all about die cutting!! If you know me or follow me on Instagram, you'll know that die cutting is my all time favourite thing to do so I just had to enter this one!</p><p>I love making cards but I've discovered that I can take all the same supplies and techniques and turn paper into home decor pieces! For the sentiment, I used the <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/Simon-Says-Stamp-YOU-MATTER-Wafer-Dies-sssd112171-Stamptember-sssd112171?currency=USD" target="_blank">You Matter Die</a> from Simon.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Once all the pieces were put together, I adhered everything onto a 5X7 piece of ivory cardstock embossed with the <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/ses-030-spellbinders-geo-screen-embossing-folder-spses030?currency=USD" target="_blank">Geo Screen Embossing Folder</a> from Spellbinders.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEix0dURD5ApaCgQsjZ6SCtjga_hbjXyb-PlCfvWjJtVgYiuazpek6m3D9PxJraDX0OFVBeCLlqE9v896XyWKgmELxzFI7jHQOBwwMYkSuaRBBDFGcDhYKqqYxbXatIIxa_mkI1SCfBAFQgGVV2_uQQqyinPO0q9StvPwJAKEHvIf3WnaJnYhnaXRYT2/s1080/sssmchallenge2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEix0dURD5ApaCgQsjZ6SCtjga_hbjXyb-PlCfvWjJtVgYiuazpek6m3D9PxJraDX0OFVBeCLlqE9v896XyWKgmELxzFI7jHQOBwwMYkSuaRBBDFGcDhYKqqYxbXatIIxa_mkI1SCfBAFQgGVV2_uQQqyinPO0q9StvPwJAKEHvIf3WnaJnYhnaXRYT2/w640-h640/sssmchallenge2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This is just an inexpensive frame. Ink Blot Shop<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">Good day!! I hope everyone is fairing well these days!! I don't know about you but my mental health is taking a beating these days. While all I want to do is ignore the goings on and live in a tiny bubble, I know that isn't possible. Thank goodness for my craft space is all I can say!</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">Todays project may reflect slightly on my mood.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjK9nI8JeemHmMf4w2wmc2o18sqDemtYGpYx_q7QlnwRmKmaxvel0t2a1AWSUq79twvUHktTf2j9Px3HMznLUotm2X9w8XOU9MDTsqA0AZ3e_RgUSBYddMVmwg-2wCuFpTszXNw5YPhy7MudGtSKJLf3pcyzTfrMWVpVW50oF9orgch8OPqDQcJ-DM7=s1000" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1000" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjK9nI8JeemHmMf4w2wmc2o18sqDemtYGpYx_q7QlnwRmKmaxvel0t2a1AWSUq79twvUHktTf2j9Px3HMznLUotm2X9w8XOU9MDTsqA0AZ3e_RgUSBYddMVmwg-2wCuFpTszXNw5YPhy7MudGtSKJLf3pcyzTfrMWVpVW50oF9orgch8OPqDQcJ-DM7=w640-h640" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">I decided I wanted to try to create a shadowy and slightly dark scene using my Cool Grey Copics. This stamp comes from the <a href="https://inkblotshop.com/collections/background-stamps/products/landscape-borders-6x6-clear-stamp-set" target="_blank">Landscape Border Stamp Set</a> from <a href="https://inkblotshop.com/" target="_blank">The Ink Blot Shop</a>. I used C9 all the way to C1.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">Now while I wanted a "darker" scene, I also wanted to add some brightness to show hope and happiness! I took a couple of the single, flower images from the Botanical Border Set and coloured 2 in grey and 1 in bright yellow (Y17, Y15, Y13). The tiny, yellow flower made me so happy, I decided to add a little yellow heart as part of the sentiment!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">The sentiment comes from a mini set called <a href="https://inkblotshop.com/collections/words-phrases/products/spaced-out-greetings-2x4-clear-stamp-set" target="_blank">Spaced Out Greetings</a>. I love the fact that it is so spaced out because you can easily cut each word apart and place where desired!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgXHzGrPLMLCh-uv0qurRyRX1JUi6kQilZGKGNhAAGUFgUew0sY1WIT4mGqaUDGA_tdcOOzKCOILgeIPT350CqFAN5huWdMqSzSKLNPb79n6EWwGKTS4hYsi6XUEPqG5pP24MKCr7MEmy6gl1d4cpnxhY-ZkHmLDoWqj__5uqc4bifO6zaosVRQYhTy=s1000" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1000" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgXHzGrPLMLCh-uv0qurRyRX1JUi6kQilZGKGNhAAGUFgUew0sY1WIT4mGqaUDGA_tdcOOzKCOILgeIPT350CqFAN5huWdMqSzSKLNPb79n6EWwGKTS4hYsi6XUEPqG5pP24MKCr7MEmy6gl1d4cpnxhY-ZkHmLDoWqj__5uqc4bifO6zaosVRQYhTy=w640-h640" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">I trimmed around the tree, border stamp and foam mounted it to a white card base. It's been awhile, right?! I hope all is well wherever you might be! I've been ignoring my blog for so long but am going to try my best to start posting more!!</p><p>I recently had the honour of making the <a href="https://inkblotshop.com/" target="_blank">Ink Blot Shop</a> design team! I'm very excited because Tifany, the owner, has some of the sweetest and UNIQUE stamps and stencils out there!! So, I thought we'd kick things off with one of my fave techniques...the spotlight technique!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjqZ4MnXI7X-QkNtmiJ4AlF0v8t8p038dRLpUtYMoG6etrTV2bY_aNui9BpvxhwQkyVNikRM1MznRB9kBkm1Q0FYMAV4givoqGGSptgXDWZnI0wnLwAHjbuOjhPD434_et8ZufE9lJLoTkpGHdNYJiWUH7yORRtSe3Pqmh3xlHUxh75xAL-Mz_qp0QR=s1000" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1000" data-original-width="1000" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjqZ4MnXI7X-QkNtmiJ4AlF0v8t8p038dRLpUtYMoG6etrTV2bY_aNui9BpvxhwQkyVNikRM1MznRB9kBkm1Q0FYMAV4givoqGGSptgXDWZnI0wnLwAHjbuOjhPD434_et8ZufE9lJLoTkpGHdNYJiWUH7yORRtSe3Pqmh3xlHUxh75xAL-Mz_qp0QR=w400-h400" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This, to me, always packs a punch! And in this example, it's so easy. I started by making a 4X4 inch card base. The layer on top was cut to 3.75X3.75. I stamped this cute floral image from the Botanical Border Stamp Set across the bottom of the layer. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I took a couple of heart dies and cut out three different spots of the image. All I had to do was colour in the heart themselves. I used alcohol markers to do this.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgzIch8EZDalJFBG7JBDRXZ9UBAKtEU4IErbAcykxu8WW4H9UamI2RmfIJiSXJ4RfEfCY4KzGf71gLFmbJxo0uftmsBYmBpJxNvPWx4B8MIK33453TgbZu02ftYgY5dNL0voz32-BB9ez2yleGXhnS-R3TROolf-Pr1Xfb-H4RCrDK-taUzfl6zFuPy=s1080" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgzIch8EZDalJFBG7JBDRXZ9UBAKtEU4IErbAcykxu8WW4H9UamI2RmfIJiSXJ4RfEfCY4KzGf71gLFmbJxo0uftmsBYmBpJxNvPWx4B8MIK33453TgbZu02ftYgY5dNL0voz32-BB9ez2yleGXhnS-R3TROolf-Pr1Xfb-H4RCrDK-taUzfl6zFuPy=w400-h400" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I glued down the stamped panel to the card base. You could inlay the coloured pieces with a flat adhesive but I chose to pop them up. I took the same heart dies to cut out some craft foam. I adhered the foam hearts in place on the card, then glued the coloured portions on top. This extra step really makes a statement!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhsce5McfQfGd3Wiy3AuJvnPcMNwjiJktJVNPBE8zvYLUGUopGgyP7JUjxRA6wcndruYatnpVua_1-EFkXj6XCxzTknbJFNo-JZRLaWVQxrY5v-BTbDpXizqif5ntljDV--bfh-j6bDovdqpBZmNtEhY5pH9llQYuXRlGZ4duSiLYPwQZzMkNz1g1ro=s1080" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhsce5McfQfGd3Wiy3AuJvnPcMNwjiJktJVNPBE8zvYLUGUopGgyP7JUjxRA6wcndruYatnpVua_1-EFkXj6XCxzTknbJFNo-JZRLaWVQxrY5v-BTbDpXizqif5ntljDV--bfh-j6bDovdqpBZmNtEhY5pH9llQYuXRlGZ4duSiLYPwQZzMkNz1g1ro=w400-h400" width="400" /></a></div><div><br /></div>The sentiment comes from the same set. Now, because I just couldn't resist, I added a generous helping of Nuvo Crystal Glaze to each heart. That shine is everything!!<div><br /></div><div>I hope you enjoyed this simple spotlight technique! Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you back here soon!!</div><div><br /></div><div>Laurie<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><br /><p><br /></p></div>LaurieChttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10661098148210029246noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-595986324925963887.post-39809377605490362942021-03-01T14:46:00.001-06:002021-03-01T14:46:10.110-06:00Just a Random Update!<p> Hey, folks!! Just wanted to pop in here as it's been about FOUR MONTHS since I've posted anything! Thank you for sticking around.</p><p>I just really wanted to give you an update on the status of my life. Like everyone, this pandemic has taken its toll. Luckily, my physical health along with literally everyone I know is fine. Mentally however, it's been a bit of a struggle. </p><p>I guess it's been about 6-8 months since I stepped down from almost all the design teams I was a part of. While every one of the companies was fantastic and I loved everything about them...I was done. My creativity went on an extended vacation. It was time to give myself a break. </p><p>I had been on various design teams for the past 6 years and honestly, it can be a full time job! Which is fine if that's actually your job, but I also work outside the home. My weekends were spent in the craft room frantically coming up with card designs, taking photos, editing photos and writing blog posts. I literally had 5 out of 7 days where something had to be published and shared. </p><p>Now, onto social media. Ugh, what can I say? This past year has been an absolute shit-show and it really hasn't gotten any better. Most design teams communicate through "private groups" on Facebook. Which means I HAD to go on there to communicate. Which in turn led me to start scrolling through all the garbage people were posting. Which then led to a deep disgust for the people of earth. Instagram is a bit better and I have to say that's where most of my designing opportunities came from. I've also "met" some truly amazing people and crafters on that platform. But I've also come across some very fake people. And these are the people that ruin it for me. With all that being said, I am still a part of the Create A Smile Stamps Design Team (which I love!), so I do have to go on FB. Usually, it's a quick check in with the DT group and a mixed media group I'm a part of.</p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbFzjbAPJMXMYZmiq3M1gIpyxF6o0IhrYk8vrzL9JW7qsYkox9Pv4z_NWcW2lTCq8D9UePMjdkjtmh7N5DoCsLM6nJY2g420oiQtG5uxI8mUhfY2qMve68oIuEaII0_fNSPtKNXUcxHFk/s900/8dQebzdHTHSUa1jUWCTBKg.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="900" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbFzjbAPJMXMYZmiq3M1gIpyxF6o0IhrYk8vrzL9JW7qsYkox9Pv4z_NWcW2lTCq8D9UePMjdkjtmh7N5DoCsLM6nJY2g420oiQtG5uxI8mUhfY2qMve68oIuEaII0_fNSPtKNXUcxHFk/s320/8dQebzdHTHSUa1jUWCTBKg.jpg" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"></td></tr></tbody></table><p>Mixed media, you say?! Yes, that is my new love. And the best part of that is I already had most of the supplies needed!! I've dabbled in a couple of mm canvases but mostly play in my art journal. While making cards is fun and I still do enjoy it, working in my art journal really gets the creative juices flowing! You get to play with papers, paints, pastes, stencils! And you can get messy. You can layer and layer and make mistakes and fix them. And the most important part...it means something. It's art. Everyone of my makes, I would feel proud to throw into a frame and display. I just have never felt that way about my cards. Not saying that a handmade card isn't a work of art, it's just very different. </p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMPzbksB-zvIQB7o6jQkZs1YXGaxe57gKZNge0F-vz39pc28kkeKBgwyvc_C9w4_uA-zI3Tqy-Sq8RBv48ETCNFwnnURsZ1fWgeIVRj1tCb0KdN00-OqaKoNb6wvSGXrJYV56apavVf04/s900/MXh1FA63TcKfw8AmMlnZ%252BQ.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="900" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMPzbksB-zvIQB7o6jQkZs1YXGaxe57gKZNge0F-vz39pc28kkeKBgwyvc_C9w4_uA-zI3Tqy-Sq8RBv48ETCNFwnnURsZ1fWgeIVRj1tCb0KdN00-OqaKoNb6wvSGXrJYV56apavVf04/w640-h640/MXh1FA63TcKfw8AmMlnZ%252BQ.jpg" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFm0ABs6owDFIPLXs6-uqQRofJSnfVtP45WQZyY7QZNVUnetglcCcGGU3n_3zfZwCB_e0lwGlTNdvFufKUFyXfkXvefI94cFtqUI7sgxl3kHVCo-kNdL3MnCCgaBpd30iFSnz4mlJ4lLM/s1200/Inspired+by+Kate+Crane%2521.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1198" data-original-width="1200" height="638" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFm0ABs6owDFIPLXs6-uqQRofJSnfVtP45WQZyY7QZNVUnetglcCcGGU3n_3zfZwCB_e0lwGlTNdvFufKUFyXfkXvefI94cFtqUI7sgxl3kHVCo-kNdL3MnCCgaBpd30iFSnz4mlJ4lLM/w640-h638/Inspired+by+Kate+Crane%2521.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlAj-3wDRE9KdxLo8zerQpQSstActb9e88jEqSIFXh37TyjCqdU_Jzdmtk5W8DllkZIO6_vzfLIim3E7v3JB1OvBhZ_XfHViALOAnyU_tscW713o6bGpj3q-zhshu4aTiW9K4Su_VRdZI/s1200/Art+Journal+Page+ft_+Tim+Holtz.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1200" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlAj-3wDRE9KdxLo8zerQpQSstActb9e88jEqSIFXh37TyjCqdU_Jzdmtk5W8DllkZIO6_vzfLIim3E7v3JB1OvBhZ_XfHViALOAnyU_tscW713o6bGpj3q-zhshu4aTiW9K4Su_VRdZI/w640-h480/Art+Journal+Page+ft_+Tim+Holtz.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: left;">You can almost tell what kind of mood I was in when each of these were created! I started by stamping the little bird, masking him off, then stamping the larger two birds beside him. After removing the mask, I appears that the little guy is standing in front! Oh, the magic of masks:)</p><p>I coloured the image with Copic markers. The birds turned out a little darker than I wanted but I just went with it.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi42l0M34qLfyWwWeB20jnGfQIHdZ1yz08fOWm6W01N3QcVb9N0JfftFY_4X0aA2it5mxMdOVdFqUM5210GS98PNWRJ4Ka0NOo2Or7pbp_fa61KXFu1zlfJIQTUFdDDHcUxukL_jIMK3zc/s900/IMG_7342.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="900" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi42l0M34qLfyWwWeB20jnGfQIHdZ1yz08fOWm6W01N3QcVb9N0JfftFY_4X0aA2it5mxMdOVdFqUM5210GS98PNWRJ4Ka0NOo2Or7pbp_fa61KXFu1zlfJIQTUFdDDHcUxukL_jIMK3zc/w640-h640/IMG_7342.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">To create the small background, I used the largest oval in the <b><a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com//app/module/webproduct/goto/m/m5a5dd6fd06677751" target="_blank">Basic Ovals Stencil</a></b>. One of my favourite things to do is mix and match stamp sets. This gives you more bang for your buck! Today, I've mixed two image sets along with a sentiment set from <a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com/" target="_blank">Create a Smile Stamps</a>.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivDTyyv24952s0iMnAhQCvJAOBAEtdrFEzgcpZVRWxRxE37KUgRSAC8_g5pG099dWLm2iHwWJbns1i3XUqq5uwwo7lN59dCCDdKqV_-BiF8c_nV5eIkbNIlA7MgRPVY0ouawdz3ApAGlM/s900/IMG_7309.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="900" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivDTyyv24952s0iMnAhQCvJAOBAEtdrFEzgcpZVRWxRxE37KUgRSAC8_g5pG099dWLm2iHwWJbns1i3XUqq5uwwo7lN59dCCDdKqV_-BiF8c_nV5eIkbNIlA7MgRPVY0ouawdz3ApAGlM/w640-h640/IMG_7309.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I also attempted to colour a white flower! This beautiful bloom comes from the <a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com//app/module/webproduct/goto/m/maa65876258a4c839" target="_blank">Doodle Flowers Set</a>. It's a large image and the possibilities are endless when it comes to colouring it! I used 2 Copic markers: C1 and the colourless blender. I could've used a C2 as I did add a couple of layers to darken it up. I've never actually added the flicks of colour on the outer edges of the petals before, but I think it makes a huge difference in dimension!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYkhpvsUHgwPoozaZQeeMXToWkbqehCMP7Hy2m1agb5r0qDKL2NdZsoT0xIcV23CNxL0iz5RK0pGJ35ti2Qazs9CUW2NrHqKdE6oglozeg_kFU7QYr2_ZM4-9go0ocil7s-85VeFlOW00/s900/IMG_7310.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="900" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYkhpvsUHgwPoozaZQeeMXToWkbqehCMP7Hy2m1agb5r0qDKL2NdZsoT0xIcV23CNxL0iz5RK0pGJ35ti2Qazs9CUW2NrHqKdE6oglozeg_kFU7QYr2_ZM4-9go0ocil7s-85VeFlOW00/w640-h640/IMG_7310.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">The sweet bee is from the popular <a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com//app/module/webproduct/goto/m/m66192f38777813fb" target="_blank">Best Bugs Set</a>. I thought the sizes of each image went really well together. Before adhering the images to the front of the card base, I used the <a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com//app/module/webproduct/goto/m/md95866ba87d12bea" target="_blank">Spring Garden Stencil</a> along with a light grey ink just to add a bit of interest to the background.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">For the sentiment I used the <a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com//app/module/webproduct/goto/m/mb9209f2549e0dac0" target="_blank">All About You Stamp Set</a> along with the <a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com//app/module/webproduct/goto/m/ma8de060dd20e533e" target="_blank">You Twice Cool Cuts</a>.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSsIW5JOcd3uGku0an6eZdiBtn3TfjRYFXcv6g_0sJWnan1T9dR0c26M_TvFQ1wSuFGmEhU-E9GvtTvoK3qhx4av8S_b2k_iUpFm3L_lXlKEe0SjSFjnZNf7oHRtLNXljNulE0eLCyRHI/s900/IMG_7311.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="900" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSsIW5JOcd3uGku0an6eZdiBtn3TfjRYFXcv6g_0sJWnan1T9dR0c26M_TvFQ1wSuFGmEhU-E9GvtTvoK3qhx4av8S_b2k_iUpFm3L_lXlKEe0SjSFjnZNf7oHRtLNXljNulE0eLCyRHI/w640-h640/IMG_7311.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">To finish the card off, I found a small heart die in my stash and cut a few tiny, black hearts. I'm back to share a card made using one of the newest stamp sets from <b><a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com/" target="_blank">Create a Smile Stamps</a></b>! And I've also decided to do some no line colouring with my pencils!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-0-NfQ1DL9ZxFJosFWlxaiaZ3eSnl4JL6IXrCer9XZR0tcF5sfacGXAJqkLxLZ-4cbd2IVPfrK4KqRVfFcll-qz5XK7-dnslKdLgJUFPVk1cR94aQ3sekWCZBxkASv32DZ4_AybXNgSY/s900/IMG_7265.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="900" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-0-NfQ1DL9ZxFJosFWlxaiaZ3eSnl4JL6IXrCer9XZR0tcF5sfacGXAJqkLxLZ-4cbd2IVPfrK4KqRVfFcll-qz5XK7-dnslKdLgJUFPVk1cR94aQ3sekWCZBxkASv32DZ4_AybXNgSY/w640-h640/IMG_7265.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div>This simple eucalyptus image is from the <b><a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com//app/module/webproduct/goto/m/m9808745ac2a5534c" target="_blank">Breathe In, Breathe Out Stamp Set</a></b>. This set has multiple images in different sizes. I used one of the smaller ones so as not to get overwhelmed while colouring.<div>I'm not an accomplished colourer. I don't really go for realism and my technique is my own. I do it purely for the fun of it. I just want good results that I'm happy with. This is the stress-free way!!</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEii_q5GMfiYcp_gKi6E540Rb9JW3AHyAclbXwDcIZ8ejWvPJiwcFq6y5QVlqe8Ju_E6p2JvXCGldRUwMR0sqRCL4jJQi_y0iniIdCvyJIPQZ4GtdoYDUG3wp2Mer7RCRVBEqFSMMWORpkI/s900/IMG_7266.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="900" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEii_q5GMfiYcp_gKi6E540Rb9JW3AHyAclbXwDcIZ8ejWvPJiwcFq6y5QVlqe8Ju_E6p2JvXCGldRUwMR0sqRCL4jJQi_y0iniIdCvyJIPQZ4GtdoYDUG3wp2Mer7RCRVBEqFSMMWORpkI/w640-h640/IMG_7266.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /> </div>After colouring, I used the second largest die from the <b><a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com//app/module/webproduct/goto/m/mfd3ab9de56e96d84" target="_blank">Stitched Circle Frames</a></b>. This cuts the inner portion as well as the detailed frame. The coloured panel measures 3.75X3.75 inches. I adhered it to a 4X4 square card base. Today is an exciting day as it's time for a new release from <b><a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com/english-1/" target="_blank">Create A Smile Stamps</a></b>!! This release is a mixture of cute and beautiful with images ranging from critters to stunning foliage.</p><p>For my card today, I went with cute. I also altered the images a bit to create a whole new look with this stamp set which is called Tea Time.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVCns4kziKZVU8utljPIpfgf5vtOqQmbi5gnJM_C2RS8GUBY0-WrvB3tlPYFfyBWcdkoz9AgCOKCqWsNifczSSyI_hDbKVIONjSKUR_b52YQSaLFJC37ScyfDT2bjAwobJLTs0vFv5MEE/s800/118205381_3276290759093906_814706005007595261_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVCns4kziKZVU8utljPIpfgf5vtOqQmbi5gnJM_C2RS8GUBY0-WrvB3tlPYFfyBWcdkoz9AgCOKCqWsNifczSSyI_hDbKVIONjSKUR_b52YQSaLFJC37ScyfDT2bjAwobJLTs0vFv5MEE/w400-h400/118205381_3276290759093906_814706005007595261_n.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><p>I wanted to show you the stamp set first, then my card. You can see that each image has the cutest smiley face on it. For my project, I didn't want that.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj57YWMzqL1CpRHy3yo_GtcK7F4ZzlvfeGUaPB733vCHmvgh7xH2VG1-MUbDl-Imp5ygx_09MWM0iBa7aYV3w_-j5gL3Zo1mu0PUouhzEZ6yQw3C3F9WnZEY8pBkxrh_RWLJhrXJyL9I8I/s900/IMG_7242.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="900" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj57YWMzqL1CpRHy3yo_GtcK7F4ZzlvfeGUaPB733vCHmvgh7xH2VG1-MUbDl-Imp5ygx_09MWM0iBa7aYV3w_-j5gL3Zo1mu0PUouhzEZ6yQw3C3F9WnZEY8pBkxrh_RWLJhrXJyL9I8I/w640-h640/IMG_7242.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p>Before stamping, I placed a small piece of tape over the face. This prevents the ink from touching this portion. Just remember to take the tape off before you stamp!! So instead of a smiling cup and tea kettle, I have space to add different details.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNFHh3PQ3QEOrplRVV32gCEjjP3MeMuQQRt_TFvdg11IA8knGepAVYRT7R5ezyBlrRt4zOEALLufLcYJQ7a_2_1e8Mt5TuVveRD1BTY7HFbh1jR292sPJY84x8Y9Q5yGVqgX7Jli_VOZg/s900/IMG_7244.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="900" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNFHh3PQ3QEOrplRVV32gCEjjP3MeMuQQRt_TFvdg11IA8knGepAVYRT7R5ezyBlrRt4zOEALLufLcYJQ7a_2_1e8Mt5TuVveRD1BTY7HFbh1jR292sPJY84x8Y9Q5yGVqgX7Jli_VOZg/w640-h640/IMG_7244.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I first took a black pen and drew some scallops on the top of each cup and the teapot. To make my tea set flowery, I used a small stamp from the <b><a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com//app/module/webproduct/goto/m/m66192f38777813fb" target="_blank">Best Bugs Stamp Set</a></b>. The only bit of masking I had to do was on the spout. All I did was place a scrap piece of paper against the edge! I did some simple masking again with the teacups to stack them on top of each other. Again, using just a scrap of paper to cover the top of each cup.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I die cut some white circles and some navy scalloped circles using dies from Lawn Fawn. I foam mounted each image onto the two larger circles and stamped the sentiment on the smallest. The sentiment comes from the <b><a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com//app/module/webproduct/goto/m/m71e9357dcadc7316" target="_blank">From Afar (A8 size) Set</a></b>.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgE2eNb-iSwsdg6-BAii2ssDhUZNsDkPOgjcrOC8yHlM-dBVf3l2oLbyKpSaUscmm9cBl6apVZPo2x9UsO1SAze56HwRCAXSkiLdxSBcnHkBU0r3tW-KvDE-Z8xk7Z3o6JJaZX5kWmV4fA/s900/IMG_7243.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="900" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgE2eNb-iSwsdg6-BAii2ssDhUZNsDkPOgjcrOC8yHlM-dBVf3l2oLbyKpSaUscmm9cBl6apVZPo2x9UsO1SAze56HwRCAXSkiLdxSBcnHkBU0r3tW-KvDE-Z8xk7Z3o6JJaZX5kWmV4fA/w640-h640/IMG_7243.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div>Before adhering the circles to the card base, I used a light grey ink and the <b><a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com//app/module/webproduct/goto/m/m58a53385be95bffb" target="_blank">Diagonal Grid Stencil</a></b> to add some interest. I found a tiny heart stamp and added few inside the squares.<div><br /></div><div>To finish, I added some gold sparkle to the centres of the flowers and some Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the scallops on the tea set.</div><div><br /></div><div>Thanks for stopping by and please check out the newest stamps from Create A Smile!!</div><div><br /></div><div>Laurie<br /><p><br /></p><p><br /></p></div>LaurieChttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10661098148210029246noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-595986324925963887.post-74658240823517437252020-09-17T09:00:00.001-05:002020-09-17T09:00:08.450-05:00Tags for your homemade goodies ft. This is a sweet little set that has some really cute and rather large images!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I used the jar image along with a couple different berries. I used Copics to colour then fussy cut everything out. The tag is a die from my stash which I dressed up a little using the <b><a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com//app/module/webproduct/goto/m/m4f53cbe3c25bd19a" target="_blank">Narrow Stripes Stencil</a></b> and a light grey ink.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaZ7uJtormPJV_1pKWPDhtmPXbo_1CJ7-V8ta6XaXOrVgc_QEMJaqrQei0wrCirb-nYObz7HuPIkWNiNQg9sQHLt57JZCF6jRidCxysLC2mg6y8Vr1FYbyoIAw37k2KDBoPwQhuGpzYaY/s1000/IMG_7221.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1000" data-original-width="1000" height="500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaZ7uJtormPJV_1pKWPDhtmPXbo_1CJ7-V8ta6XaXOrVgc_QEMJaqrQei0wrCirb-nYObz7HuPIkWNiNQg9sQHLt57JZCF6jRidCxysLC2mg6y8Vr1FYbyoIAw37k2KDBoPwQhuGpzYaY/w500-h500/IMG_7221.jpg" width="500" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">What's great about this set is that it comes with a bunch of sentiments that fit on the jar label! These are a fantastic way to start as they are inexpensive and the size is not too daunting! After covering the pages in Gesso, I picked out 3 Distress Oxide Inks: <b><a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Tim-Holtz-Distress-Oxide-Ink-Pad-Speckled-Egg-805p26867.htm?idaffiliate=18" target="_blank">Speckled Egg</a></b>, <b><a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Distress-Oxide-Stamp-Pad-Pumice-Stone-811p21584.htm?idaffiliate=18" target="_blank">Pumice Stone</a></b> and <b><a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Distress-Oxide-Stamp-Pad-Fossilized-Amber-811p17770.htm?idaffiliate=18" target="_blank">Fossilized Amber</a></b>. I ADORE this colour combination! I did some simple ink smooshing by using an acetate sheet.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I decided to try heat embossing on this page. I've never done it on a journal layout so wasn't sure how it would go. But it actually turned out not too bad! I used the <b><a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Lavinia-Clear-Stamp-Zen-Leaf-2-1071p26752.htm?idaffiliate=18" target="_blank">Zen Leaf 2 </a></b>stamp from Lavinia Stamps along with <b><a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Embossing-Powder-White-825p13783.htm?idaffiliate=18" target="_blank">white embossing powder</a></b>. I tried to stamp as randomly as possible.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDYu7j8xygh0UOv7KBGghk77h6XU_cJWV3jNZk6c__qrVBWJ3U1Pgskym8bzyBMYl4yciQ-l6G0CCf-qQDXEEM0wrWJmTtDmyrT0hLgIl7OIl9Bk2S1pIbvcnq6qeR2LVTOWSY2zbAXHg/s900/SA7zWiqxRcK9BzBo7XpwWw.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="900" height="625" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDYu7j8xygh0UOv7KBGghk77h6XU_cJWV3jNZk6c__qrVBWJ3U1Pgskym8bzyBMYl4yciQ-l6G0CCf-qQDXEEM0wrWJmTtDmyrT0hLgIl7OIl9Bk2S1pIbvcnq6qeR2LVTOWSY2zbAXHg/w625-h625/SA7zWiqxRcK9BzBo7XpwWw.jpg" width="625" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">To make the images pop a bit more, I added the same three ink colours inside some of the leaves as well as used a watersoluable pencil to create some shadows around each leaf.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Art journaling is all about adding layers and textures so I took the <b><a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Lavinia-Clear-Stamp-Mini-Dots-1071p26794.htm?idaffiliate=18" target="_blank">Mini Dots</a></b> stamp (Lavinia) and some <b><a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Archival-Ink-Stamp-Pad-Jet-Black-811p13115.htm?idaffiliate=18" target="_blank">Black Archival Ink </a></b>and did some random stamping. While I had that ink out, I used a <b><a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Tim-Holtz-Mini-Stencil-Set-7-822p14745.htm?idaffiliate=18" target="_blank">Tim Holtz Stencil</a></b> to add the circle patterns.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmNcAdaqTo1BiU9daFMnL98X_n37fd_J6XSKOs1Xxv22gU2isEx6-mMavy6Yb_5PP6tGlL99X5MHahyphenhyphennRMty8KMEeNX0XBz1T3d-vIXTvN1ssEkZ1hgjtA5bB5vEnJ-yvVP0t2EAa7_u0/s900/%2525%25256FX%252Bs7Ss6B7DqPqBvF9Q.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="900" height="625" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmNcAdaqTo1BiU9daFMnL98X_n37fd_J6XSKOs1Xxv22gU2isEx6-mMavy6Yb_5PP6tGlL99X5MHahyphenhyphennRMty8KMEeNX0XBz1T3d-vIXTvN1ssEkZ1hgjtA5bB5vEnJ-yvVP0t2EAa7_u0/w625-h625/%2525%25256FX%252Bs7Ss6B7DqPqBvF9Q.jpg" width="625" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">It was at this point that I wanted more black so I used a portion of the <b><a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/The-Crafter-s-Workshop-6X6-Stencil-Butterfly-Collage-848p10321.htm?idaffiliate=18" target="_blank">Mini Butterfly Collage Stenci</a></b>l with <b><a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Dreamweaver-Embossing-Paste-Matte-Black-806p20254.htm?idaffiliate=18" target="_blank">Black Embossing Paste</a></b> to add not only more black but texture as well!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">The sentiment comes from the Big Chat Sticker Book from Tim Holtz. I outlined each sticker with a white gel pen. To finish the page off, I used a black brush pen to draw a wonky border to frame it nicely. WAIT!! I thought I was finished at this point but I had one more stamp to use and that was the <b><a href="https://www.scrapnstamp.ca/store/pc/Lavinia-Clear-Stamp-Flutterby-Miniature-1071p26770.htm?idaffiliate=18" target="_blank">Flutterby Mini</a></b> stamp.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I stamped it directly onto the page as well as a scrap of watercolour paper. I used Speckled Egg and Fossilized Amber inks to add a bit of colour to the wings. I fussy cut the wings only and added it to the stamped image on the page....now it's done!!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWepD1QodBJSL609P4gaHujXurNFGTrqcuxmyXuLDSFPblyRAv53rutRnn4s_ven65aVABbQJVDP-ENKqmaQYbQb7ouB5OEbtIgb3fINPOP0qgQEsksORO8VHyyR9PRLPucQOL2iOh2qQ/s900/UzkQXlEFRbGzh%252B4sS4lFVA.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="900" height="625" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWepD1QodBJSL609P4gaHujXurNFGTrqcuxmyXuLDSFPblyRAv53rutRnn4s_ven65aVABbQJVDP-ENKqmaQYbQb7ouB5OEbtIgb3fINPOP0qgQEsksORO8VHyyR9PRLPucQOL2iOh2qQ/w625-h625/UzkQXlEFRbGzh%252B4sS4lFVA.jpg" width="625" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Thanks so much for stopping by and hopping along with us today! Create a Smile Stamps!<p> Welcome back! I decided to dust of the pencil crayons and colour some gorgeous new images from Create A Smile Stamps!</p><p>Pencil crayons (that's what we call them here in Canada) is a tricky medium for me. I love the look but I'm not a fan of the amount of time it takes. I've watched probably hundreds of tutorials and they all say the same thing...light pressure and build up the colour. Well, I didn't do it that way. I laid it down heavy and in one layer. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHtbz6AfTGh44n_RB6YUCcZWPNDk69XHByD1G4ysCNhjYzuZI3qlNUsVMVEhHFGKw5mP_kAxWLOZ2zxAeZipn3RGv2LzqN5M_wTq57TZzb1uQO-lOQehuhd1RQynjCOQ8-0F6AzdYziZc/s900/IMG_7185.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="900" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHtbz6AfTGh44n_RB6YUCcZWPNDk69XHByD1G4ysCNhjYzuZI3qlNUsVMVEhHFGKw5mP_kAxWLOZ2zxAeZipn3RGv2LzqN5M_wTq57TZzb1uQO-lOQehuhd1RQynjCOQ8-0F6AzdYziZc/s640/IMG_7185.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This floral images is from the <a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com//app/module/webproduct/goto/m/m28390976eba71b49" target="_blank">Mallow Blossoms Set</a>. You can really see here how thickly I applied the colour. I'm also going to point out that I thought the small, green piece was a leaf. In fact, it's a part of the blossom that I THOUGHT was a leaf. I'm clueless when it comes to flowers so please forgive me, haha!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXaHEXbHLerywwzG1dgKw3pt7N_tKk2wqrtV9tmBsInoVse_e9uCAfe3sDB8nSzfTcn25c5vMfJzoJ3Aiy5QEpxe802SvM9t7DIzODOAAE4N0O_4yOa6bfGf6m5PTHpbo6_x1OF6GaalI/s900/IMG_7186.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="900" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXaHEXbHLerywwzG1dgKw3pt7N_tKk2wqrtV9tmBsInoVse_e9uCAfe3sDB8nSzfTcn25c5vMfJzoJ3Aiy5QEpxe802SvM9t7DIzODOAAE4N0O_4yOa6bfGf6m5PTHpbo6_x1OF6GaalI/s640/IMG_7186.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">To put this card together, I used the <a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com//app/module/webproduct/goto/m/mf2def57eac00e5f0" target="_blank">Petals Stencil</a> on the card front with a light, pink ink. I used the second largest <a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com//app/module/webproduct/goto/m/md0fec6c186d7c440" target="_blank">Scalloped Rectangle</a> die to create a panel. I carried the stencilling to the inside of the circle. To create the kraft circle, I used one of the <a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com//app/module/webproduct/goto/m/m652ea8977abbbefc" target="_blank">Postage Edge Circle Dies</a>. I placed a smaller, plain circle die on the inside to create this ring.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I adhered the ring to the white panel and foam mounted the flowers. The sentiment (from the Mallow Blossoms) was stamped onto one of the <a href="https://www.createasmilestamps.com//app/module/webproduct/goto/m/m4cce052a43f70789" target="_blank">Useful Banners Dies</a> and was also popped up. I added a few sequins for a bit of sparkle.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Thanks for dropping in! See you soon!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Laurie</div><p><br /></p>LaurieChttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10661098148210029246noreply@blogger.com0
