We also have a special priced May Release Bundle that's only available for this weekend only.

Here's what I've created for you...

I started by doing a simple watercolor wash then chose a cactus and a pot from the Prickly stamp set. It is hard to tell in the photo but the images and sentiment are heat embossed in rose gold embossing powder.  I watercolored the images as well.

I fussy cut the cactus and pot and adhered them to my watercolored panel. I absolutely adore this set!!  With all the cute faces included, you can go from an elegant, artsy card to a super adorable cutesy card!!  If you only could chose one set, this should be it!! (my opinion :)

This card is super simple!!  I ink blended a background to look like a summer's night sky.  Then I heat embossed (after some minor stamp surgery) a sentiment from This n' That sentiment set in white embossing powder.  I took the flourishes from that same set and embossed them in a clear sparkle powder.  I added some white dot detail with a gel pen and thought I was finished.  It looked a little sparse to me so I added that cute little lightening bug from the Build A Scene 2 set also in white embossing powder.

I hope you enjoyed my projects for this release and been liking what you've been seeing along the way!!  This is one fabulous release!!!!

  4. Sorry I had major typos in my original comment.. I think I was pondering your comment "minor stamp surgery" In either case the cards are amazing

    1. stamp surgery is where you cut your stamp apart so that you can rearrange the words or images. The best thing is that the parts fit back together perfectly, so you can still stamp in the original design too :)

  24. I love the clean simplicity of the watercolored background of your first card. Ir really makes the cactus the star of the card. As for your second card, it looks exactly like the nighttime sky we had during a severe thunderstorm that occurred at sundown last night! Well done!
