I love flowers. They're beautiful. They smell nice. They will brighten anyone's day!
But, I know absolutely nothing about them. I certainly cannot grow them.
So, to get my flower fix, I buy floral stamp sets!! You can't kill those!!
Here's a few cards I've made in the past few days using various floral stamp sets.
This first one uses all www.simonsaysstamp.com products including the Autumn Blessings stamp set. I entered this card in their Flickr Challenge #17. The challenge included using these colors:
The next card also uses Simon Says Stamp products. I used the Scribble Flowers stamp set. Stamped the images on watercolour paper, then masked them off. It is quite hard to tell in the photo but I stamped a background stamp from Impression Obsession called Beauty Text over the masked flowers. I then watercolored the flowers using an inexpensive watercolour marker set from Michaels. My water brush has some residue glitter in it (from what, I have no idea!) The "you" die cut is from www.papertreyink.com, and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp, sentiment of You set.
And finally, this last card uses the Blossoming Buds stamp set from www.papersmoochesstamps.com. I just love this set!! Tried out some spotlight stamping, such a great technique!! Very simple black and white card with just that little pop of color!!
Spring has finally sprung here in Canada (so, far. Who knows, we may get snow next week!)
Hope you enjoyed my "flower garden" :)
See you soon!!
