Craftin' Desert Divas March Release!!!!

Welcome to the CDD March Stamp Release Blog Hop.
All stamps are in the CDD Shop and now available for purchase HERE.

Here's what I've created for you...

This first card uses the Build A Scene stamp set. I wanted to show the versatility of this set by making a sympathy card (not my favourite card to make).

I simply stamped the tree and coloured it fully with a black marker to create a silhouette image. I stamped a few of the grass sprigs at the base of the tree, hand drew a line from one of the branches and attached a punched heart shape to the end of it. I added some clear gems randomly around the tree and added a layer of glitter pen.  I used the Fancy Frame DiesStitched Scallop Dies and the Simply Said stamp set to finish the card.  Here is a close up:

My next project is much happier!!  I used the new Toad You set to make a "pop art" kind of card!!

I clear embossed the toad four times onto some watercolour paper.  I chose bright, pastel, springlike colors for this card.  I used my Stabilo pens (totally addicted to these right now!) to color in this cute little guy!  I stamped the sentiment first is Versafine Black Onyx ink then stamped the lily pad over top so I could watercolour it.  I then fussy cut the lily pad/ sentiment.  I used the Fancy Frame dies here as well (addicted to those also) and mounted everything with dimensional adhesive.  Here is a closeup:

Hope you enjoyed my Release projects and I hope you have the opportunity to put these fab new products into your shopping cart!!!
