I have to admit that I am a sugar freak. I LOVE candy. So when this theme popped up, I immediately thought sweets!!

Here is what I made:

I started by stamping and colouring one of the candy images from Fright Night.  I then watercolored a background panel cut from the Fancy Frame dies in colors that "kind of" matched my candies.  When the panel was dry, I adhered my candies on top of their coordinating colors.  I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Wishes mini stamp set and the hearts from the Sweet Kisses set.  And of course added some glitter pen and Glossy Accents to the hearts and candies!!

Hope you enjoyed and have a fabulous day!!
Thank you for stopping by xx

We also have a special priced May Release Bundle that's only available for this weekend only.

Here's what I've created for you...

I started by doing a simple watercolor wash then chose a cactus and a pot from the Prickly stamp set. It is hard to tell in the photo but the images and sentiment are heat embossed in rose gold embossing powder.  I watercolored the images as well.

I fussy cut the cactus and pot and adhered them to my watercolored panel. I absolutely adore this set!!  With all the cute faces included, you can go from an elegant, artsy card to a super adorable cutesy card!!  If you only could chose one set, this should be it!! (my opinion :)

This card is super simple!!  I ink blended a background to look like a summer's night sky.  Then I heat embossed (after some minor stamp surgery) a sentiment from This n' That sentiment set in white embossing powder.  I took the flourishes from that same set and embossed them in a clear sparkle powder.  I added some white dot detail with a gel pen and thought I was finished.  It looked a little sparse to me so I added that cute little lightening bug from the Build A Scene 2 set also in white embossing powder.

I hope you enjoyed my projects for this release and been liking what you've been seeing along the way!!  This is one fabulous release!!!!

Paper Smooches May Challenge!

Hello everyone!!  I am participating in the PAPER SMOOCHES May Challenge.  It's a fabulous one this month with the theme being RAINBOW!!!!  So fun!!

I knew I wanted to use the Bird House dies, which I've had for awhile but haven't used.  I die cut several from Neenah 80lb cardstock and coloured them in rainbow colors using my Spectrum Noir markers.

I knew I wanted to have a circle of birdhouse around a sentiment.  So I die cut one of the Pinked Circles dies, added a light blue background with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and stamped my sentiment from the Summer Groves stamp set..along with the cute bird and tiny flower images.

And here is my finished card, sequins and all!!

I hope you like my rainbow creation!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!!

HEY!!!

Hello everyone and happy Friday!!  I'm here to share a cute "hey" card.  I recently got my hands on the Peek a Boo Animals stamp set and I love it!!!  The possibilities are endless with these cute little critters!!

I started by using the Fancy Frames Dies (of course) to cut a panel for the front of my card.  I used the small rectangle in the same set to die cut a window for my kitty to peek over.  I was going for a cat looking in a window sort of effect.  I decided to do some ink blending in yellow and orange to make it look like a sunny sky.

I colored and fussy cut the butterfly from Blooming for You to add just a little more cuteness.  Speaking of cute, I just had to add a bow to that sweet little kitty, from the Party Dies set.
I die cut the scallop border (one of my favourite dies!) from the Pocket Pieces Hello Dies set for the kitten to lean on.  I added a few enamel dots to finish the card off.

Hope you enjoy!! All products are listed and linked below!!
Have a wonderful weekend!!
