My Creative Time "7 Year Anniversary" Release Sneak Peek Day One!!!

Hello friends and welcome back!! Today is the first day of Sneaky Peeks for My Creative Time!!  This release is extra special because Emma is celebrating 7 Years of having her shop! Isn't that awesome?! I've been a fan for about 4 of those years which is when I "really" got serious about this hobby :)!!  It's also her birthday month but shhhh, I didn't tell you that!

This is release is SO much fun!!  And totally unique! You are going to love it!

Today, we are taking a peek at the new Flower Border Die. This die is so incredibly pretty. What I love the most about this die is that it takes the guesswork out of that tricky little technique called Partial Die cutting!  I've often tried to get a nice border on the edge of a card and always ended up cutting the wrong side or having to use a craft knife to complete certain cuts!  You don't have to worry with this die!!

I decided to make a baby card today.  These I usually make as needed but I thought this die would be perfect for one!!

I die cut the bottom front flap of the card base using the die.  It's as easy as lining it up at the edge of the cardstock!! And look at the result...gorgeous!  The die set also comes with a separate flower die, which I used on some patterned paper and simply layered them.  This die set is so well thought out that Emma included 7 tiny flower centres!! This mean you don't have to run one little die through numerous times, one pass and you're done!!! Genius!!

To dress things up a little bit, I added some pink ribbon just above the die cut border.  Of course it needed some butterflies and those are from Pretty Butterflies and Dragonfly Dies and were cut from the same patterned paper I used on the flowers.

The sentiment is from the Vintage Sentiments Stamp set  and was stamped on the Vintage Stitched Label Dies. Confession time:  I just recently purchased the Vintage Sentiments and dies and I'm obsessed. I apologize if you see them frequently:)

I added a few confetti embellishments and some glitter pen to the butterflies! Oh, how I love this die!!
