My Creative Time 5 Days of Christmas...Treat Holders!

Hello and welcome to our "5 Days of Christmas"! This week we'll be sharing lots of last minute Christmas ideas such as cards, tags, treat holders, gift card holders and whatever else that will help you get your creative juices flowing!

Today is the second day and we are featuring treat holders!  The treat holder I made comes together quickly and could be easily mass produced.

I used the Present Box die and some cut patterned papers. This is one of my favourite die sets as it includes that sweet bow!!

The tag is from the Chunky Stitched Tags Die set and the "to" and "from" come from the Dec 25 stamp set.

**GIVEAWAY**

There will be five (5) winners throughout the 5 Days of Christmas. Up for grabs are 5 of Emmas favourite things shown below.  All you have to do is leave a comment on each of our blogs during the five days to win one of the prizes.  You must comment on each of our blogs each of the 5 days to be considered for a prize.  Please remember to leave your email with your comment so that Emma can contact you if you win.

My Creative Time 93rd Edition Sneak Peek Day Three!!

Welcome back to the last day of sneaks for the 93rd Edition Release from My Creative Time! I just know that you are going to LOVE today's peek!  This is called the Strawberry Treat Box and it is just adorable!!!

It literally can't get any cuter than this!  I assembled the box in white cardstock and found some very old patterned paper in my stash to decorate it.  The colours just happened to work perfectly!

The sides of the treat holder are a series of tabs that must be adhered together. I found the best way to do this was to apply a dot adhesive (something that doesn't adhere right away and that can be repositioned if necessary) to each flap and work your way around. I then went back and used liquid glue.

What is great about this treat box is not only it's amazing shape, but the decorative layers could be used on their own as focal points on cards or scrapbook layouts!

The sentiment is from the Especially For You Set that we took a look at on Monday. It's stamped on the FREEBIE die for this month called the Cute Micro Tag Dies. Everything in this release works so beautifully together!!

Remember, tomorrow we have a blog hop and all products will be available for purchase (along with a sale, of course!)

Thank you so much for stopping by today! See you tomorrow!!

I Need A Favour with My Creative Time!

Welcome to a post all about favours!!  Party favours, I mean!  If you're unfamiliar with the amazing line of dies offered at My Creative Time, you must check them out!  Emma has everything you could possibly need when planning out ways to give tiny gifts or candy!!

I chose to show you a quick way to make wedding favours or bridal shower favours. Although, this can be switched up for any occasion. I just really wanted to use the new His & Hers Dies!!

I used the adorable Mini Gift Box Die which comes together in a snap and requires no adhesive. So, if you need a whole lot of favour boxes, this is the one for you!!  I die cut all the elements from the His&Hers Dies out of white, pink and black cardstock and simply adhered them to the front and back of the box.

I added a piece of black and white twine to tie the box together. I used one of the Stitched Decorative Banner Dies and stamped a sentiment from the Healing Wishes Stamp and Die Set which I attached along with the twine.

Of course, no love themed project would be complete with hearts. I took all three sizes of hearts from the 2X2 Note Holder Die and Add-Ons, layered them up and added them to the blank side of the box.

Like I said, if you need a lot of these, they come together so quickly!!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great week!

Today, we will be showcasing some quick and easy treat holders!! As you know, Emma carries a lot of cute and unique treat holder dies in her shop. I chose to use the Mini Gift Box Die. If you're looking for quick and easy, this one is it!! With only one pass through your die cutting machine, and technically no adhesive required, this come together fast!!

I kept these very simply, both were cut from plain, white cardstock. I die cut the treat box from patterned paper as well, and adhered it over one of the boxes.

To jazz things up a bit, I used the Number Fun Dies and Add Ons Set to die cut the number 25.  After the number were adhered to the boxes, I decided it needed a heart as well which comes from the Hot Chocolate Season Stamp and Die set and is the perfect sized heart for almost anything!!

I love the cute boxes this die creates! I can actually imagine them hanging from a tree as well!

Thank you for visiting and remember...

Made In Minutes with My Creative Time

Hello, my crafty friends and welcome back to another "Made In Minutes"!!  I honestly need to start timing myself for these posts to prove how quickly some of these projects come together!

My Creative Time (Emma) is known for all their amazing packaging and treat holder dies, so I decided to use one for my project today.  Before starting on Emma's Design Team, I never made any sort of 3-D project or treat holder. I always found them too intimidating with all the measurements, cutting and scoring.  But all of these dies take all the stress right out of it!!

I used the Mini Gift Box Die.  This is a fairly new die to the shop and as I'm writing this post, it's currently out of stock so I do apologize!! But never fear, they will be back in stock shortly!!

I cut the die out of 80lb white cardstock. It cut, scored and folded beautifully!

There is a cut on each of the corner flaps. These create little tabs that simply fold into each other.

You don't actually need any adhesive for this little box to stay together. I did add a couple strips just so the side flaps would stay up, but again, not necessary.

I measured the area inside the stitched detail lines on all four sides to create some layers with patterned paper.

1.25 inch squares worked perfectly which I added to all sides of the box.

So cute!! As you can see, I cut a small circle using the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies and also used the Lower Case Fun Dies to cut out the letter "c" to personalize the box a bit more.

To give you an example of what can fit in these gift boxes, I placed a package of sequins along with a jar of Perfect Pearls.  There is definitely room left over!!

All that's left to do at this point is add my little monogram and tie it up with a piece of ribbon!!

This little box is so stinkin' cute!

Just think of all the ways you can personalize this box or decorate it for every season!! Or how great would these be for birthday or wedding favours??!!

Now I promise you that this was literally made in minutes. About 10 actually!  The hardest part was tying the silly ribbon!!

Thank you so much for stopping in today. I appreciate your visits!

Until next time...stay crafty!!

My Creative Time 82nd Release Final Sneak!!

Alright!! Today, is our final day of sneak peeks for the upcoming release from My Creative Time and you're not going to be disappointed!

We are sneaking TWO products today!  The first one is a stamp and die combo and the other is another super cute treat holder!! The Open If You Dare Stamp and Die Set features more awesome Halloween sentiments as well as dies to complete your look.  What is extra special about this release is that everything works SO WELL TOGETHER!! I love that!!  You probably remember those cute bat dies I used on Day Two, right? Well, this stamp and die set have them. And interestingly enough, I did not use them on this card.  But I did use one of the bat stamps :)

I decided to create a shaped card that also doubles as a treat holder.  Isn't that coffin die awesome? And totally creepy.

The actual candy holder has an awesome spider web detail to it.  This die is super easy to put together as well. I'm sorry I didn't have any actual candy to put inside..it's a little too early :) But I think this would work perfectly as a little lunchbox note as well!

This is one of my favourites from the new release! Which product(s) are your favourites, let me know!!

Thank you so much for joining me today and remember the blog hop tomorrow where there will be some amazing inspiration!!
