My Creative Time 94th Edition Sneak Day Two!

Are you ready for another peek into this month's release from My Creative Time??! Today we're showcasing the FREEBIE dies!  These dies are free to the first 25 shoppers so you'll want to shop early!!

This set of dies co-ordinates with the Halloween Fun stamps and dies we showed you yesterday.  These little labels are made to fit the sentiments from the set. And have a really cool stitched edge and shape!

I decided to make a shaker card today using both ghost dies from the Halloween Fun dies.  I think it's super cute how it looks like the ghost in the middle is holding a sign!! Isn't the shape of these little dies awesome?

And remember that speckled stamp I mentioned yesterday? I used that again today to add just a little something to the background!!

My Creative 94th Edition Sneak Peek Day One!!

Hello my friends and welcome back to a week full of spookiness featuring products from the upcoming release from My Creative Time!!  This month's release will get you ready for Halloween season!

Today, we're having a look at the new Halloween Fun Stamp and Die Set!  This set is full of creepy, cute sentiments as well as a ton of dies to dress up your Halloween cards or treat bags!

I used one of the ghosts and the witches hat die to decorate the front of my card.  The background was really easy! I used Mixed Media paper and the inks blend like butter! I used Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire and Dusty Concord Distress Inks.

The sentiment is so cute, which I heat embossed in silver. The stamp set also has a speckled image (don't know how else to decsribe it) which is super fun and comes in handy to add texture!!

My Creative Time 82nd Edition Release Blog Hop!!!

Hello friends and welcome back!!! Today we are having a blog hop to celebrate the 82nd Release from My Creative Time!! You should have arrived from the amazing KENDRA but if not, the entire blog hop lineup will be down below!

Today is a day filled with Halloween inspiration. All the awesomeness is available for purchase NOW!!

For today's card, I used the new Pumpkin Face Die. This die is actually the FREEBIE this release and is a must have. I hope you are one of the first 50 shoppers to claim this die!!

I dug out my Kuretake Gansai Watercolour paints for this card. I haven't used them in ages and felt the need to give them some love. I used a blue, a purple, a pink and black to create a wash of colour. Then added some white paint splatters. 

The moon was created by using one of the Bunch of Fun Circles Dies and adding some yellows and oranges. I used the Pumpkin Face Die to cut out the face.  I also used the die on some black glitter cardstock and inlaid those pieces into the "moon".

I've recently become obsessed with the Stitched Cartoon Cloud Dies so just had to use them here!! I did add some shine to the clouds using a mixture of Perfect Pearls and water.  What didn't work out so well was adding Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the face.  It somehow got all weird and patchy on the glitter cardstock and took away the shine completely...so weird.

The super cute "EEK!" comes from the Witchie Witchie Stamp and Die Set.  In case you missed the first card I made with this awesome die, here it is...

This is such a versatile little die and I hope you are able to add it to your collection!!  Up next on the hop is the super talented RUTHIE!!

My Creative Time 82nd Release Final Sneak!!

Alright!! Today, is our final day of sneak peeks for the upcoming release from My Creative Time and you're not going to be disappointed!

We are sneaking TWO products today!  The first one is a stamp and die combo and the other is another super cute treat holder!! The Open If You Dare Stamp and Die Set features more awesome Halloween sentiments as well as dies to complete your look.  What is extra special about this release is that everything works SO WELL TOGETHER!! I love that!!  You probably remember those cute bat dies I used on Day Two, right? Well, this stamp and die set have them. And interestingly enough, I did not use them on this card.  But I did use one of the bat stamps :)

I decided to create a shaped card that also doubles as a treat holder.  Isn't that coffin die awesome? And totally creepy.  

The actual candy holder has an awesome spider web detail to it.  This die is super easy to put together as well. I'm sorry I didn't have any actual candy to put inside..it's a little too early :) But I think this would work perfectly as a little lunchbox note as well!

My Creative Time 82nd Release Sneak Day 3!

Welcome to Day 3 of Sneak Peeks for the 82nd Release from My Creative Time!!

As you know, Emma offers a lot of treat topper dies, gift box dies and other three dimensional dies.  Sometimes I use them as they were intended but if you've stopped by my blog before, you know I like to try to use them in other ways!  

Today, we look at the new Witch Hat Treat Topper Die!!!  I really think this die set is a must have because of its versatility.  I can think of 3 ways to use this. 1) As a treat topper for your goodie bags.  2) As a shaped card and 3) Using the dies to create a focal image on your cards, which is what I did today!

I simply used only one half of the die to create this large focal image on my card.  I used all glitter paper that I've had in my stash for years which worked perfectly for this!  To jazz up the background a little, I used the Stitched Cartoon Cloud Dies and a few black sequins.

So much fun!! All that's needed is a "witchy" sentiment stamped on the inside!  This die is super easy to use and just imagine all the colour and pattern combinations you can use to make this hat your own!!

My Creative Time 82nd Release Sneak Peek Day 2!!

Welcome back! Are you ready for another sneak peek at a new stamp and die set from My Creative Time?! This release is all about Halloween so sit back and get ready to be spooked :).

Today we're featuring the the new stamp and die set called Witchie Witchie! The stamp set is filled with fun sentiments and the dies are perfect for creating cute and kind of creepy scenes.

I created a cloudy night sky with a few shades of purple Distress Inks to give an eery backdrop to my "tombstone". I really like the shape of that die. This set actually comes with two of these shapes, I used the smaller of the two.

Now, I have to admit, I cheated just a little bit.  The bats you see here are not in this set but stayed tuned because they are coming your way soon!  But that cute spider (if spiders can be called cute), the cobwebs and the "RIP" are all part of this set!

My Creative Time 82nd Edition Release Sneak Peek Day One!!!

Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog!!  Today is Day One of some Super Spooky Sneak Peeks for the 82nd Edition Release from My Creative Time!! If you love Halloween, then this release will be right up your alley!!

Today, we are sneaking a look at the new Pumpkin Face Die.  This die is small yet mighty!  It's also the freebie this month so stay tuned until the end of this post for more details on that and also how to win this die!!

We know that cover plate dies can be fairly pricy so I decided to get the cover plate "look" using only this cute die!

I repeatedly cut this cute face on a piece of orange cardstock turning the die in different directions to give a random look.  I also made sure to cut past the edges of the panel.

I popped the die cut panel on a black card base with foam adhesive and just HAD TO add googly eyes!! This card isn't scary at all but super cute!!  The sentiment was white, heat embossed on a black strip of cardstock and also popped up...the set with this sentiment will be revealed soon!!
