Sneak Peek #4, My Creative Time 95th Edition Release!

This is the final day of sneak peeks for the upcoming release for My Creative Time!  All products will be available tomorrow...yay!! We will also be having a blog hop to celebrate so stay tuned!!

We're showing you another must have die set!  This is called the Present Box Die and is perfect for small gifts or even party favours!

With two passes through your die cutting machine and a little adhesive, this little present box comes together very fast!  It also includes that super sweet bow!  I chose to make mine into a cut gift bag by adding a couple of holes and tying through some bakers twine.

I made mine using some fun patterned papers. Sentiment comes from the I Have Faith in You Stamp and Die Set.  I used the label dies from the Mailbox Gift Card Holder (Monday's sneak peek!). Love how these products work together!!

This assembled die will hold quite a few goodies and again, is perfect for all year round!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  See you tomorrow for the blog hop!!

**Sneak Peek Giveaway**

We will be giving away the sets we are showcasing each day to ONE lucky winner!! 3-D Wednesday with My Creative Time!

Hello and welcome!! It's time to make a three dimensional project using goodies from My Creative Time!!  I really struggle with this because I'm mostly a card maker but Emma has so many dies in the shop that make this easy!!

I started my creating a box with the Gift Card/Gift Box Die using 80lb cardstock.  Before adhering it all together, I stamped a pattern on the lid portion using the polka dot stamp from the Egg Decorations Stamp Set (on sale!). I used a beautiful yellow shade of ink from Catherine Pooler called Sauna.

The real star of the show is this bunny:

I used only the front portion of the Bunny Lollipop Holder Die to create this super cute embellishment for the gift box.  I simply added colour using sponge daubers and Distress Inks.  This set comes with separate pieces that cut the eyes, nose and little eye brows.

The bow comes from the Sleigh Die Set and worked so good here!! I used the same yellow ink, with a gentle hand to add colour to it.

The sentiment (also from the Egg Decorations Stamps) was stamped on one of the Chunky Stitched Tag Dies using the same Sauna Ink. To give a bit of definition to the tag, I added some stitching detail with a grey marker.

And my Easter treat box is ready to go!! You could easily switch up the colours to create more of a masculine bunny, and skip the bow:).

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you found a wee bit of inspiration here today!!

See you soon!

Whatever Wednesday with My Creative Time

Hello, my friends and welcome back!  Because it's "whatever Wednesday", I thought I would shake things up a bit and share a non-Christmas card!!  Truthfully, as much as I enjoy making Christmas cards (and I do love it), I felt it was time to break out some other stamp sets.  And because the next next big paper craft holiday is Valentine's Day, that's what I went with!!

I began by die cutting the large puzzle pieces from the Stitched Puzzle Pieces Dies out of white cardstock.  I placed the empty puzzle into my Misti and secured it with the magnets.  I took the super cute girl and boy images from the You're A Hit Valentine Stamp and Die set (which is at an amazing price by the way!) and with a little masking, stamped them to look like they are holding one heart.

I used my alcohol markers to colour these cuties in.  I did add temporary adhesive on the back of the die cuts while I coloured. The sentiment and hearts come from the The Last Piece of our Family Stamp Set.

I played around with the idea of placing the puzzle on a card, but decided it would be better to place the pieces inside a box.  So, of course, I just had to use the Gift Card Gift Box Die!  To decorate the outside of the box, I used the More Scalloped Hearts Dies as well as the "Be Mine" dies from the You Make My Heart Smile Stamp and Die Set.

The tiny puzzle fits perfectly and would make a super fun and interactive Valentine to give!!

This was one of those projects that was a joy to make!!  I hope you like it!!

Thanks so much for dropping by today, I appreciate your visits!!

Until next time...

Whatever Wednesday with My Creative Time!!

Hello and Happy Halloween! Are you ready for all those trick or treaters? We live in the country so I maybe see 2 kids but that doesn't stop me from buying the candy :)

I made a cute little Halloween candy treat holder today. This is perfect when you only get a few kids at your door, although this did not take long to put together!

I used the new Gift Card Gift Box Die set for this project. This little die set is going to get a lot of use in the next couple of months and beyond!!

I used patterned paper for both the top and the bottom of the box.  Before adhering the top together, I die cut the Pumpkin Face in the centre.  I placed a bit of black cardstock behind the face to make it stand out.

For an added touch, I used the bat dies from the Open If You Dare Stamp and Die set and the "BOO" which comes from the Ghost Lollipop Holder Die.  I did add a bit of shimmer to the black areas with my Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen.

Now just look at all the treats this gift box holds!!  Any trick or treater would LOVE this little box!!

I hope you all have a safe and fun Halloween!!

Until next time...stay crafty!
