My Creative Time 48 Hour Flash Sale & Blog Hop!!

Welcome back to another 48 hour Flash Sale!  This sale is for 48 hours only that starts right now and will end on Sunday, May 5th 2019 at 7am PST!!!  Today, we are showcasing the amazing new stamp and die set called Best Day Ever and Grad Lollipop Holder Die. These two sets are available for purchase HERE!!  Don't forget to use the code "FLASH" at checkout to receive 20% off your entire IN STOCK purchase! Sale only applies to in stock items only!

This stamp and die set was made with graduation in mind but the sentiments can work for many more occasions!  And what I love the most about this stamp set is the dies!! They cut out each sentiment, how awesome is that??!

I used only half of the Grad Lollipop Holder Die to make this card.  Remember, these dies can be used for so much more than what they were intended!  I inked up the white die cut around the edges with a light blue ink.  The tassel is a bit darker and I used a gold Sharpie for the accents.

I popped up the grad cap and adhered it to one of the oval dies from the Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies. I added some patterned paper using the largest die from the same set.  I thought it would be cool to add the year to the card, so I used the Number Fun Dies & Add Ons.  I used white cardstock and added the same ink only to the bottom of each number. I die cut them from craft foam for some dimension.

Now let's talk about that sentiment!!  I used two shades of blue ink for an ombre look and used the co-ordinating die to cut it out...I LOVE THIS!!

I had some gold star sequins in my stash which worked great here!! And that's my project for today!!

Keep hopping along for more inspiration!! Here's the full blog hop lineup:

My Creative Time 48 Hour Flash Sale & Blog Hop!!

Welcome back to another 48 Hour Flash Sale for My Creative Time!!  This sale is for 48 hours only and is going on NOW until Sunday, March 3, 2019 @ 7:00am PST.  We are showcasing and AMAZING new stamp and die set called Happy For You!  This set is available for purchase HERE.  Don't forget to enter the code "FLASH" at checkout to get 20% off your entire IN STOCK purchase. Sale applies to items in stock only.

You have arrived from the lovely Miss Kendra's Blog!!

I'm pretty sure I've told you before that I amassed most of my MCT stash during these 48 hour sales!!  It's a great time to shop!!

The set we are showcasing today is awesome!  It has a great frame die with a couple of other icons which go perfectly with the sentiment stamp set!  What I love most about this set is that while it contains your "run of the mill" congrats sentiments, it also has unique ones like, "adoption of your fur baby" or "congrats on the new you".  You won't find sentiments like that anywhere else!

I combined this set with the older Home Sweet Home Stamp and Die Set.

The frame fits perfectly on a 3.5 X 3.5 inch note card.  To create a small scene, I used the new Floating Cloud Dies and the previously released Stitched Grass Die.

After adhering the white frame to an ivory card base, the "congrats" was hard to read, so I die cut just the top portion of the frame again from white cardstock and added some colour with markers.

I think this is a great sized card to attach to a housewarming gift!

I hope you enjoyed my project for today!!

Up next is the amazing Miss Ruthie!!

My Creative Time 48 Hour Flash Sale and Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome back to another 48 Hour Flash Sale for My Creative Time!! This sale is for 48 hours only and is going on right now until Sunday, February 3rd, 2019 at 7:00am PST!  Today, we are showcasing a super cute, brand new stamp and die set called Celebration Tags! This set is available for purchase HERE. Don't forget to enter code FLASH at checkout for 20% off your entire in-stock purchase!!

You should have arrived from the super talented Miss Kendra's blog! The full blog hop list will be down below!

This set is intended to make tags for almost any occasion but is so versatile that it can be easily used for cardmaking.  I love that the tag itself does not cut the ribbon hole.  Because of this feature, you can use those dies for a large label, as I did on my card today!!

I am amazed at how many dies are in this set!  That cupcake is adorable!

I used Distress Ink to add colour to my die cuts but there is so much more you can do with these!!  I think watercolour or using patterned paper would look awesome!

I can see myself using this set again and again. Mixing and matching with so many of Emma's products!!

I hope you all get a chance to shop today and are full of inspiration from this blog hop!! Up next is the lovely Miss Ruthie!!

My Creative Time 48 Hour Flash Sale and Blog Hop!!

Good Morning and welcome to another "48 Hour Flash"! This sale is for 48 hours only that is going on RIGHT NOW and will end on January 6th, 2019 @ 7am PST!!
We are showing casing an AMAZING new stamp and die set. It is called Signed, Sealed and Delivered. This set is available now for purchase HERE!! Don't forget to use the code FLASH for 20% off your entire in-stock only purchase!!!

I will admit that I NEVER decorate my envelopes. The fanciest thing I've ever done was add washi to the flap :).  I think the reason for this is that I buy VERY inexpensive envelopes. And we all know how thin those things are!  They just don't take ink well at all.  I did do an envelope for you today because this set is made for it. Although, this would work beautifully with all your tag, gift card holder and treat dies...must try!!!!

I used the Hello You stamp set and repeated stamped the leafy image along the bottom of the card.  I scattered the flower images throughout.  I wasn't super happy with the stamping and that was due to the weight of the envelope...it was like stamping on typing paper :(.

The mailbox on the other hand, was stamped onto smooth white cardstock.  Isn't it adorable?  I used liquid glue to attach it but again, due to the quality of the paper, it warped the entire envelope.

This stamp set is full of cute sentiments and "handcrafted card inside" is one of my favourites.  I stamped this on the back flap.

Having a set like this makes me want to buy some good quality envelopes!!  But like I said before, this set can be used for so much more!!

Thank you for hopping along with us today and remember...

My Creative Time 48 Hour Flash Sale!!

Hello and welcome back to another 48 Hour Flash Sale for My Creative Time!!  Today we are showing you this super cute stamp and die set called "Just A Little Something"!!  Just in time for all your holiday gift giving needs! This set is available for purchase now at the My Creative Time Shoppe!  Also, don't forget to use the code FLASH at checkout for 20% off your purchase! **Sale applies to in-stock items only**

You likely have arrived from the awesome Miss Kendra's blog but you can find the complete line up here.

I love creating my own gift tags and this set makes it super easy!!  But of course, I made a card for you today as well to show the versatility of this set :)

Let's first take a peek at the tags I made...

This set comes with 3 different shaped tag dies along with a stamp set that is full of beautifully written Christmas sentiments.  I created a shaker tag using the scalloped shaped tag (the heart comes from the Stitched Scallop Heart Die Set). The stamped snowflake in the centre is also part of this new stamp and die set!  On the second tag, I heat embossed the sentiment with Metallic Copper Embossing powder from WOW (this is currently my favourite colour!)

I added a few flowers cut from red and green cardstock using the Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves Die set. I heat embossed the centres of the flowers with the same embossing powder.

The stamp set comes with a "to" and a "from" which I stamped on the back of each tag.

Now onto the card and the third shaped tag die!

The Christmas tree tag has a star with a hole where you place your string or ribbon. I just snipped this portion off.  I added some green ink to the tree and the round ornaments are actually the floral centres from the Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves!!  I used the smallest star die from the 3 Star Stitched Die Set. The background uses the snowflake stamp that's included in this new set and I just stamped it using Versamark in for a watermark look.

Please don't hate me but I cut apart one of the sentiments from the stamp set.  This allowed me to place it horizontally across the card. I thought it would be fun to heat emboss on a strip of vellum and wrap it around the card front.  (I must apologize for the quality of my photos today.  It is dark and gloomy and no amount of editing seemed to fix this problem!!) I used Nuvo Crystal Glaze to add dimension and shine to the ornaments.

Here's a look at all that I made with this new stamp and die set. On the right hand side, you can see the original shape of the tree tag as well as the "tis the season" sentiment :)

I hope you enjoyed my projects for today! Next up on the hop is the talented Miss Ruthie!!!

Of course, I had to turn this lollipop holder into a card!!!  Please forgive me!!  This ghost is just way too cute for words!  I added a purple, sparkly bow using the Fun Size Scalloped Stitched Bow Die,  added some blush to the cheeks and eyelashes using a marker!  Now, she's ready to go out haunting!!

The "boo" die is also included which is just totally perfect!

This card really didn't need any extra embellishments as I used a lot of glitter paper!

I hope this gave you another idea on how to stretch your dies!!

My Creative Time 48 Hour Flash Sale!

Good morning crafty friends & welcome to another "48 Hour Flash Sale!" This sale is for 48 hours ONLY that is going on right NOW & will end on Sunday,  April 1, 2018 @ 7am PST.

We are showcasing an  AMAZING new die & coordinating stamp set!  They are "Cute Flower Tag Die" & "Mini Spring Greetings" .  These 2 are available now for purchase!  Don't forget to use the code FLASH at checkout to get 20% off of your entire "in-stock" only purchase!  Sale applies to in-stock items only!

I introduce to you:

Cute Flower Tag Die

"Mini Spring Greetings"

First off, I have to say that I absolutely adore these line of dies that Emma has created!  They are so fun, cute and just a wee bit whimsical!!  I've created three projects for you today to show you three different ways to use this die!  Let's take a look!!

Obviously, the first way to use this die as it is intended, as a tag :)

I went for a monochromatic look by using all pink cardstock. I added a few "veins" to the petals using a black pen and also traced around the flower flap of the tag to give a little interest to the inside.

And how about that sentiment? It fits perfectly on the inside of the tag and the font is a simple font, which I love! The Mini Spring Greetings stamp set is full of these tiny sentiments which will fit perfectly in ALL the Cute Tag Dies!

My next project uses the tag die a bit differently.  I used the whole tag on the front of a card, leaving it open.

I think this creates a very unique layer to the card. I foam mounted the tag to the largest of the Scalloped Stitched Rectangular Dies and then placed the panel onto a purple card base.  I used the same colour cardstock to cut a couple of the flower dies as well.  I chose another of those cute sentiments and stamped it on what would be the flap of the tag!

Now onto my last project and my favourite!!  For this, I didn't use the tag die at all but rather the accessory dies.  I die cut a bunch of the flowers and the centres and used a variety of Distress Inks to give them colour.

The card base is 5 X 5 inches square and fit four of the flower perfectly! Because these dies have one edge that is flat, there is no trimming off the edges. The leaves are actually one of the dies snipped apart and coloured green!  The sentiment comes from the new Springtime Smiles stamp set and is stamped onto one of the ovals from the More Scalloped Stitched Ovals Die Set.

I finished the card of by adding some white gel pen details!!

I hope you found some inspiration here today!! I know you'll be blown away by the creations of the design team!!

Come hop along with us for LOTS of inspiration using these 2 new items!

My Creative Time 48 Hour Flash Sale & Blog Hop!!

Good afternoon & welcome to another "48 Hour Flash Sale!" This sale is for 48 hours ONLY that is going on right NOW & will end on Sunday,  February 4, 2018 @ 7am PST.

I'm so sorry that I'm late to this party!  I picked up my goodies from the post office this morning and got to work!  Better late than never, right??!  You should have arrived from the lovely KENDRA!!

We have an AMAZING new kit we are showcasing!  This kit will consist of a stamp set with coordinating dies along with a coordinating STENCIL!  I am SUPER EXCITED to share this new "EXCLUSIVE" kit with all of you!  Now, since this is an "EXCLUSIVE" kit, basically once these kits are sold out, they are gone FOREVER!

This is SUCH A FUN kit, I cannot wait for you to see all the projects the team has created using it! Don't forget to use the code FLASH at checkout to get 20% off of your entire "in-stock" only purchase!

I introduce to you:

Isn't this just the most beautiful kit??!!  The dies make it super classy and the stencil brings out the fun of it too!!  Let's have a look at what I've created:)

This is card is super happy and I think would cheer up just about anyone!  I chose rainbow-esque Distress Oxides in the colours Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Wild Honey and Peacock Feathers. By moving the stencil around and only using the clouds, I was able to create this background.  I trimmed the panel down using the XOXO Border Dies which leave that beautiful embossed detail!!

I cut the girl with the umbrella out of white cardstock and white heat embossed the sentiment onto the umbrella itself then inked it up with the Twisted Citron ink.  I contemplated leaving it like this but then decided to add a bit more colour by cutting it a couple of times with some patterned paper.  I trimmed certain pieces to give her a dress and some boots!!

To make the die cut pop a bit more, I simply added a "shadow" by die cutting her out of some grey cardstock.  The heart embellishments also come from the dies in this set.

My next card is not quite so "in your face" bright:)!  I lightly inked the raindrop portion of the stencil with a combination of Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks onto some white cardstock and cut it down using the largest die from the More Stitched Rectangular Dies.  Again, I shifted the stencil slightly to achieve more of a layered look.

I cut the girl out of white cardstock again, and did two layers of gold heat embossing to give her a smooth, shiny look.  I also did the same with the three hearts.  I created the ground by using one of the dies from the More Stitched Edges Die Set and heat embossed the sentiment directly onto it.  I used foam tape to adhere the sentiment panel and also on the top portion of the girl to give some dimension.

This is such a beautiful kit, I absolutely LOVE it!!  You won't be disappointed when you receive it!!

Now onto the fun blog hop details...

My Creative Time 48 Hour Flash Sale!!

Hello everyone!! Hope you are having a fantastic day!! I am supposed to be participating in the 48 Hour Flash Sale and Blog Hop for My Creative Time which was also supposed to be my first official post as a new DT member.  But you can't control the postal service, can you?  My super, duper happy mail showed up this morning (a day late and a dollar short, so they say) so I got right down to business and created a couple of projects using the amazing new kit being featured today!!

ThIs is an EXCLUSIVE kit!!! Once they are gone, they are gone FOREVER!!!  This is an amazing and super fun kit, so PLEASE hop along with the incredibly talented Design Team!

And of course, as the title states, there is A SALE going on right now!  Don't forget to use the code FLASH at checkout to get 20% off of your "in-stock" only purchase.

I introduce to you:

Isn't this amazing??  This kit is perfect for ALL your Valentines cards or even a "just because I love you" card.  The sentiments are just beautiful with one of my favourite MCT fonts.  The dies are incredible, and LARGE! And yes, that gorgeous stencil is also included!!

Let's take look at my projects, shall we?

Of course, I just had to use that stencil.  I traced the hearts using some water-soluble markers onto a piece of watercolour paper.  Then smoothed out the colour with water.

See that sparkle?  This was an experiment that luckily worked out.  I lined up the stencil, squished some Versamark Ink over top and used a Clear Sparkle Embossing Powder over top.  It's super pretty in real life!!  I then cut the large double heart die from the kit out of the same watercolour paper and used 2 of the same colours to create a soft look.

Before putting this card together, I cut down the heart panel using the largest die from the More Stitched Rectangular Dies Set. I stamped one of the sentiments from the kit so it would peek out from the pink heart.

I adhered the panel to a grey card base and placed a few sequins inside the dies to give it a faux shaker look!

My next card was a bit quicker to make.  I started by stamping the "love" from the stamp set and used the co-ordinating die to cut it out. This die can be used on its own as well!

I cut down a piece of white cardstock with the same rectangle die and this time used the stencil to dry emboss.  I've never done this before and had to watch a YouTube video to see how it was done :)

I did an inlaid die cutting technique by first cutting the large single heart (and inking it up), then taking the "love" die and cutting through the middle of it.  Make sense?  Here's a pic :)..

I made sure to leave all the pieces together on my cutting plate.  I popped up the die cut sentiment by cutting it multiple times, then simply placed the heart pieces around it.

To complete this card, I stamped a cute little sentiment and foam mounted the panel onto a kraft card base, and of course, added a few clear sequins.

So there you have it, kind of long post but I really wanted to showcase the versatility of this kit!  I hope you enjoyed!

Please, PLEASE visit the MCT Blog for the line up!  There is also a $25 gift certificate up for grabs! While you're there, check out the shop for more amazing products and take advantage of the 20% off!!!

Wishing you the best weekend and thank you so much for stopping by!!!
